Younha's cue to walk down the aisle was two minutes ago and there are still no signs of her. Maybe she's a little late because she's stressed out, it's okay she'll be here soon.
At least that's what I thought until Yeosang came out alone, holding a note. He runs to me and hands me the paper.
San : She ran away ?
Yeosang : I'm sorry, I went to get the bouquet, I only left her alone for five minutes and when I came back, she wasn't there and had left this note.
San : Did she say she didn't want to get married anymore ?
Yeosang : No, she seemed fine all day, I really wasn't expecting it.
Wooyoung and Jongho join us, understanding something is wrong.
Jongho : What's going on, where is Younha ?
San : She freaked out and ran away.
Wooyoung : She bailed on you on your wedding day, that doesn't sound like her.
San : I know, it seems weird to me. I'm going to call her, take everyone to eat and go wait around until she gets back.
Yeosang : But she asked you not to reach out to her.
San : Oh I am reaching out, I don't give a fuck if she doesn't want me to !
I leave the room and got to the hallway, dialing Younha's number. I called her ten times, she didn't answer once.
Wooyoung : How is it going, did she answer ?
San : No, nothing. I'm going to our apartment and looking around the city, she can't be far away.
Wooyoung : Let me tell the others and I'll join you.
He goes back in the wedding hall and Mingi comes out of it.
Mingi : Is everything alright ?
San : Yes, just please follow everyone.
Mingi : Where is Younha ?
San : I don't know, okay ?! I don't fucking know, she seemed to want this as much as me, why is she bailing on me ?!
Mingi : She bailed ?
San : Yes, she left me this note and she's not answering her phone.
He reads the note and his face darkens.
Mingi : I think this is more than her freaking out.
San : What do you mean ?
Mingi : She was addressing this to you, why would she sign Kang Younha ? You never use her full name.
San : You think this is a fake letter ?
Mingi : Does it look like her handwriting to you ?
I stare at the letters and realization hits me.
San : Shit...
Mingi : Let me get Yunho.
He runs back in the main room.
Thank god we became friends with FBI agents.
Both of them quickly come back to me.
Yunho : Is it Hyeonsok ?
San : Who else would do this ?
Mingi : I'm gonna call his prison and see if he managed to escape, you two head out and try to find her.
We start heading out but Wooyoung runs behind us and joins us.
Wooyoung : Wait, I told you I was coming.
San : Change of plans, we think my brother took her.
Wooyoung : Are you sure ? Maybe we should look at your place first before jumping to conclusions. Hongjoong and Seonghwa are gonna look at the shop, Yeosang is checking his place and Jongho is checking mine.
Yunho : We can check your apartment and if she's not there and Mingi gets the confirmation that Hyeonsok escaped, then we can bring out the big guns.
San : Fine, let's go.
We go to my and Younha's apartment and I've never prayed so much for her to jump out of the door and hug me.
Unfortunately, nobody jumped when I opened and when we got inside.
San : Younha, are you here ? Answer me baby, please. I'm not mad at you if you got scared.
No answers.
We split up and check every room of the apartment, the last one being our bedroom. I knock on the door and slowly pull on the handle, opening it and revealing an empty room.
San : She's not here.
Wooyoung : The others haven't found her either.
Yunho : Um, I have some bad news, Hyeonsok escaped yesterday.
San : Fuck, he's got Younha ! He's going to kill her, we need to find them.
Yunho : Let's check the building where he got arrested.
San : He wouldn't go back there, would he ?
Wooyoung : Only one way to find out, let's go.
We once again looked all around the building, Younha was nowhere to be found.
Yunho : Where could he possibly have taken her ?
Wooyoung : You don't know any other places he used as head quarters ?
San : Wait, I have an idea.
That's how we got to parents's old house.
Yunho : Where are we exactly ?
San : My childhood house.
Wooyoung : You really weren't lying when you said it was a mansion, we're never gonna find her !
San : Yunho, where do you usually find kidnapped people ?
Yunho : Basements, attics. Preferably somewhere the sound doesn't get through easily and without windows to not be seen from the outside.
San : Basement it is, follow me.
After forcing the door to get inside, they follow me down the stairs to the basement of the house. There are multiple doors but only one seems to open.
San : I think they're in here.
Yunho : Let me go first, I have my gun.
Wooyoung : You brought your gun to a wedding ?
Yunho : And it's gonna be useful.
He takes the weapon out and kicks the door open, letting us hear Younha's cries as Hyeonsok is trying to undress her against her will.
Yunho : FBI, turn around and show us your hands !
San : And get the fuck off of her !
He sighs loudly and turns around, looking annoyed.
Hyeonsok : This is not fun, how do you want me to kill her if you always interrupt me ?
San : I do not want you to kill her you piece of shit, get away from Younha !
Hyeonsok : Yeah, the thing is, you're not the only one with a gun.
We hear someone charge a gun behind us and when we turn around, we see a man in his thirties pointing it to my head.
Hyeonsok : Tell your friend to drop his weapon if you don't want to get badly hurt.
Yunho : How about you tell him to drop his ?
A shadow appears behind the man, it's Mingi. He's followed by other agents, all of them armed.
Yunho : Now get away from her and be nice while we take you back to prison.
They cuff and take away both men as I run to Younha, trying my best to free her hands.
Younha : San, help me...
San : I'm trying, it'll be done soon. Just give me a minute.
Younha : No, I need some air, I don't feel good...
She's crying and her whole body is shaking, I forgot she was claustrophobic.
