Jin had done as instructed, but not before checking on Jimin and Tae. Tae nodded approvingly as he and Jimin snuggled up on the couch with the comfiest blanket Jin could find. Once those two were taken care of, Jin left the apartment searching for Yoongi.

Jin went to the scene of the crime first, thinking he would find Yoongi pouring his sorrows and agony into lyrics, but found his studio, the shared studio, and the band studio empty. Before leaving the company, Jin peeked his head inside the dance space. Given his distaste for rehearsal time, it would be unlikely to find Yoongi there, but he didn't want to miss Yoongi on an off chance he wouldn't be there.

Coming up empty, Jin started up his car and made his way to Yoongi's apartment. It had been months since he had been there. Thinking further, Jin couldn't remember the last time he was at his own place. He was always back at the old dorm. The apartment had become his home once again.

The members had searched for their residences, claiming they needed more space. But then they found Peri, their nucleus, holding the seven protons of positive energy around her orbit and bringing the boys home again. They never needed space; they needed her.

However, too many electrons were now entering the orbit. The negative energy was throwing the relationship off balance and creating chaos. Jin, along with everyone else, would have to work together to restore the proportions.

Jin was rounding the hallway of Yoongi's apartment when he heard the music blasting through the hallways. It would be a revelation if Yoongi didn't have at least ten noise complaints by the end of the night.

Jin made a mental note to have the company send apology flowers to every unit on the floor.

Just as Jin was opening Yoongi's door, he heard a loud crash of glass. He swung open the door quickly to find a barefooted Yoongi wobbling around his living room with a nearly empty bottle of whiskey in one hand and his free hand waving around a full glass of the drink.

"SHIBAL!" Yoongi screamed as he tottered to the closet throw pillow lying on the floor and launched it into the air with his foot, not even noticing where it landed as He took another swig of his drink.

Jin quietly and casually walked over to Yoongi's stereo system and turned down the volume of the music playing to an acceptable level—the level at which the neighbors would thank him and Jin and Yoongi could have a civilized conversation.

Yoongi turned to face Jin immediately when he noticed the change in volume. Pointing an accusatory finger at Jin while still holding his glass, he said, "She sent you over here, didn't she? Oh, I bet she told you all about what I did," he seethed. "Or was it leader? Did he send you here to do his dirty work?"

Jin sighed to himself. He knew immediately which type of Yoongi he was dealing with tonight. It was the self-destructing and self-loathing Yoongi who was angry at the world, mixed in with half a bottle's worth of alcohol in his system.

It was going to be a long night for Jin.

"Neither one of them did, but I heard a little about what happened. Still, I want to hear your side." Jin kept his voice neutral, and asking for his side of things showed Yoongi that he was on his side.

"I did what I always do, hyung! Fucked it up! I fuck it up, Peri runs away, then I fuck it up again, Peri runs away again. And the vicious cycle continues!" Yoongi tips his glass and consumes the alcohol in one shot before flinging the glass out of his hand and smashing it on a wall on the opposite side of the apartment.

Jin understands how and why the first crash happened.

"You didn't mess anything up, Yoongi," Jin said assuringly.
