Friday morning, I decided to get up and go out to the gym. I didn't know if Jeff was going to be there, but I wasn't just going to text him and ask. I might seem stalkerish, if that's even a real word. I went to the bathroom and put on a pair of shorts, a workout top, and sneakers. Don't forget my hair, which was in a nice sideways ponytail, just the way I liked it.
I drove out to the gym, and to my luck Jeff was there! I was doing little dances in my head. Ever since that kiss on Wednesday, I wanted to hang out with him some more. Walking in after a few minutes of staring at the road, I walked over to Jeff and kissed him on the lips. I quickly looked over at Morgan, who clearly just saw me kiss him. Lemme tell you, you could cut the tension with a knife.
We started working out doing what we were doing on Wednesday, and thankfully Jeff didn't look like he was about to rip someone's head off.
"Hey, sweets, I'm going to see if I can grab a couple pairs of boxing gloves so I can spar with your brother," I said kissing his cheek. He nodded and went back to hitting the bags. After getting me and Matt some gloves, I walked back over to see Matt glancing at Morgan as she and two other girls left. Imma have to ask if she's mad that I was kissing Jeff. I mean, she shouldn't be, but I didn't want to mess anything up if she still had feelings. I wanted to try to be friends with her, and kissing your crush wouldn't help any.
After we spared for a half hour, we decided to go back to the house and watch movies. In the middle of Final Destination 3, Jeff went outside for what I guess was a smoke, but not really, cause when a jump scare scene came up, something tapped on the windows and I screamed and whirled around.
"You asshole!" I screamed, putting my hand on my heart. "You scared the shit out of me!"
"Sorry, darling," he said.
"Oh, god, when did you turn into Dixie Carter?" I said. All three of us stared at each other, and burst up laughing.
We watched movies and crashed on the couch sometime at 4 am. The next day, I got up and used the bathroom, and while I did that, I decided to pass the time on my phone by checking my messages. I saw a message from my boyfriend, John.
Hey baby, how's training going? It read simply. I suddenly wondered if Jeff would find out about this. I mean, it shouldn't be a big deal. I had planned to break it off with John for months now, but still, I don't know if that excuse would be enough for one half of a wrestling tag team.
I texted John back, Everything's fine. Jeff Hardy is really nice.
I got off of the toilet with my phone and tucked it back into my pocket. I turned the corner and Jeff was standing there in the same clothes he had on last night, and I was really turned on by his messy hair. I felt myself staring until my phone buzzed, signalling that John had texted back. I kissed Jeff on the cheek and told him that my grandmother was calling me, like always. Don't get me wrong, that wasn't a lie. My grandmother was always calling me to see if I could fix her appliances (electrician was my job before I decided to take up wrestling). It just wasn't the truth in this instance.
That's good, John's text read. If he caused my angel to get injured in any way, I would have to end him. Here's hoping he doesn't injure me, I didn't want him to see Jeff until after I broke up with him.
Aww baby, you don't have to worry about me. I'll kick his ass if he hurts me.
