"Give me a minute to get home boss!" A female voice echoed throughout the hall. "Yea, got lost somewhere. Sounds like some fighting is going on." Lights slowly illuminated her face, only to be taken away a few seconds later. Her face would appear and disappear every few seconds as she walked down the hall. Hanging up the device, she continued the journey down the hall. As she rounded the corner, she saw a figure against the wall. The face revealed himself as Morgan Davis, holding her head as tears ran down her face. As soon as she lifted her head, she hung her head back down, looking at her boots that she wore to the ring.
Lola walked down that hall and sat next to Morgan, who still had her head hung, not able to look at the young woman next to her. Sighing, Lola crossed her legs and pulled a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket. "You want some?" she said, offering the sticks to Morgan.
Morgan looked at the sticks and shook her head. "Ahh don't smoke I see?" she said, stuffing the smokes back in her pocket. "Yea, that's good. I'm trying to quit as well."
After a few minutes of silence, Lola got up and stood in front of the clearly upset woman. "Lola Matthews." Again, Morgan stayed silent. "Why don't you come with me back to my place. You look like you need a place to stay. I'll introduce you to my kid." She thought about it for a few minutes than shook her head. "Okay then. I oughta get back but we should talk sometime when you're up to it." And with that, she walked away, the thoughts of the sad young girl plaguing her mind.
*Ryah*
I smiled as I was sitting next to Jeff, who was standing next to the ring in the arena. The roar of the crowd was electric with the main event match that was going on right now. Ethan Carter vs Matt Hardy. Fucking prick. He was a thorn in everyone's side, no one's more than Jeff, Matt and especially Morgan. Speaking of her, where was she? I knew she wasn't going to be out here what with Jeff going off on her at his birthday party the other day.
Jeff was seriously worried that Matt was going to lose this match, and I told him many times beforehand, that if he didn't want to go through with it. I mean, who wouldn't be. Anyone that had to go work for someone like Ethan Carter would most likely go crazy within that first week, He kept telling me that he was okay, even though I saw clear apprehension on his face. However, as much as I wanted to argue with him, I knew not to.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Matt scream in pain, doubled over, holding his balls. Ethan then sunset flipped him and pinned him for the three count. Jeff looked like he was either going to pass out or start bawling. And I...well, I just got fucking pissed off. Not at Matt--he couldn't help that he lost--I was pissed at the situation.
I got up and rubbed Jeff's arm. He stared at me with the same, if not more, apprehension, on his face. "Its going to be okay. I'm going to try and get you out of this. And don't say not to. I want to. You don't deserve this. And I am going to do it whether or you want me to or not."
