*Jeff*

"Mor...?"

No response.

"Morgan?"

Still no response. Ya see, before the match with Matt, I had seen one of the most inhumane things I've ever seen. Jasper burnt both Bobby and James with fire and claimed it was fun. Then he attacked me when me and a bunch of others ran out there. Ryah happened to be in the mix when it happened. After a few back and froths he spit mist into my eyes and Ryah got involved, trying to get Jasper to come to his senses. That earned her mist in her eyes as well. I went to her side, but it wasn't anything more than to see if she was okay. I did leave right after she said she was okay and left Gail to attend to her. So I don't know why Morgan was giving me the cold shoulder.

"Morgan," I said again, trying to reach for her, but she shrugged me off. We were back in my locker room after the I Quit Match. I had thought everything was okay because she was out there with JJ and me but I guess I was wrong.

Morgan's phone went off and she picked it up. She stared at it a moment before she started laughing.

"What?"

"It's nothing." She said before laughing again.

I then took her phone to see what she was watching.

"Hey!" She shouted trying to get it back, but I blocked her and looked at the phone to see that she was watching what had happened earlier with Jasper and everyone else.

"You think it's funny that me and Ryah got blasted?" I said crossing my arms.

"Maybe a little." Morgan said smirking. "I mean Jeff, you wouldn't leave the kid alone! So....in a way....you kinda had what was coming to you."

"Whatever, Morgan," I said. "I was concerned for him. He had no one."

"Jeff, I understand that, but if he wants his space then dammit give him his space! He's got a lot to handle and people chasing him down doesn't help him at all."

"Okay fine, and are you mad at me for going to Ryah's aid?"

"Hmm...well....I can't say I'm to happy about it."

"What do you want me to say about that," I said. "I'm sorry? Because if you want me to be honest, if that was anyone else but her, you would've been okay with it."

"Hey," Morgan said putting her hands up. "You did what you wanted, that's all that matters."

"I did what I...What?" I asked incredulously. "Baby, I'm not trying to start a fight with you, but I did what I thought was right."

"I know." She said looking to the side. "As long as you think what you did was right, then I guess there's no point in arguing over it." Morgan said before looking over at me. "I mean really Jeff, what's the point of even talking about it? Because you know just as well as I do that it'll just start a fight......and I'm sick of fighting."

"Well, that's one thing we agree on," I said, crossing my arms. "Why are we putting ourselves through this?"

"I don't know." Morgan said as she buried her face in her hands.

"I'm sick of fighting too," I said. "I've been mulling over this and I'm sure you have too, but maybe we need to take a break."

"W-what?" Morgan said as she snapped her head in my direction.

"It's not a break up, or divorce, or anything like that, but I think that we need time apart," I said, not believing what I was saying. It was true though, I was causing enough grief in her life.
