Chapter 46

Ethan got a message that said that we had to be there for yet another preshow. It was good that we were getting exposure again, especially since we were gonna be doing live shows next weekend. Tyrus had a match with some kid named Coby Clifford, while Ethan and I naturally didn't have any matches. My nose still hurt from Ethan accidentally punching me when I stepped in front of Morgan to protect her.

We walked out to a chorus of boos. I'll be honest with you, I didn't like the fact we were getting booed, even though they were mostly booing Ethan and Tyrus. Coby walked out and did his entrance before the match started. Tyrus tried to grab him, and he quickly got out of the way. Wrapping his arms around Tyrus' neck, Coby put him in a sleeper hold. He kept getting dragged by Tyrus, who walked all around the ring trying to get free of the hold. When Tyrus got down on one knee, Coby tightened his grip around his neck. Ethan, with his loud ass self, yelled at Tyrus to destroy him.

Let's just skip to the end of the match. Colby started to get up slowly as Ethan was discussing stuff in the corner. Coby jumped Tyrus and caused him to knock Ethan off the ropes and sent him crashing into me. Man, what did the universe have against me?! Once I carefully pulled myself up, I saw that Coby hit Tyrus with the Once Percenter, which Ethan also saw and let's just say, he was none too happy. Coby pinned Tyrus for the win and he had the biggest smile on his face. Even I hid a smirk on my face as Ethan went red with anger.

When we got back, Ethan started in Tyrus, and I tried to calm him down, but he then started yelling at me for not helping him.

"What was I supposed to do, Ethan?!" I shouted back in his face, which he responded by slapping me in the face. Oh buddy he's not gonna like me that much if he does that again. But before I could do anything, a voice stopped me.

"Ethan!"

It was that Coby kid again. He walked up to Ethan and got in his face. "Ya know, I could put up with a lot of your crap during training, but I really don't know how Jeff doesn't just snap you in half right now from just a few days of him being your assistant! Assistant? Nah, wait. I think more like your bitch! No offense Jeff." He looked back at me thinking that what he said about me being Ethan's bitch somehow offended me. Nah, not really. I could see why most of the fans say it.

"None taken, man," I said holding my hands up.

"Hey!" Ethan said grabbing Coby by the shirt. "What me and Jeff have going on is really none. Of your. Business! And anyway, I'm really not impressed with you using my move. You think that impresses me?"

"I didn't do that to impress you," Coby said with a cocky smirk on his face. "I did it as a big...FUCK YOU!" As I was watching this exchange, Tyrus nudged me towards a big gallon of water that just happened to be there. He gave a nod towards Coby, who at this point was being held up on the wall by Ethan. He let Coby go and I grabbed the gallon of water and splashed him with it. Coby let out a high pitched scream and shook his head as Ethan laughed at him and patted me on the back in approval.

"Jeff! What the heck, man?!" Coby shouted at me. I gave him a conflicted look and I just pushed Ethan away before walking down the hall. Walking into Ethan's locker room, I swung the door open so hard that it swung shut behind me almost immediately. I felt the emotion build up inside of me as I grabbed my stuff. As I packed up my stuff, tears blurred my vision slightly. Now usually, the only people I would show my emotions around were Ryah and Matt, but Ryah was back the hotel and Matt...well, ever since I became Ethan's bitch, Matt wasn't really around me these days.

I heard Avril and Alexis running towards the locker room, and I wiped my tears as I walked over to the high window. Just as I threw my bag, and I was halfway through, Avril and Alexis burst through the door. Not being able to say anything because I was so upset, I just let myself hang there, with one leg in the window and one leg out. I bowed my head in shame and let the tears fall as Avril and Alexis started in on me.

"Jeff, we just saw Coby, why the hell is he soaking wet? And why is he saying that you had something to do with it?" Alexis demanded. I stared at her through red rimmed eyes.

"Jeff," Avril said quietly. "Come down here and talk to us like a mature adult. Why is Coby soaking wet?"

Feeling tears run down my cheeks, I looked at Avril and Alexis. "I hate being Ethan's bitch...I hate it so much."

"Jeff," Alexis said as she and Avril walked over to the window. "Did Ethan make you?"

"I-I cant," I said looking out at the grass below.

"Yes you can..." Avril said, holding her hand out to me. I was conflicted again: what was I gonna do? Fall out the window? Or go with these girls who probably secretly hate me because of what I have been doing to Morgan?

I shut my eyes for a second, my choice pretty clear. I opened my eyes and looked again at Avril's hand. I swung my legs back inside and grabbed her hand, using the top of the nearby locker for support. Once I got myself down, I couldn't hold back the tears anymore when Alexis hugged me. Avril joined soon after. Like I said, I didn't like showing my emotions in front of people, but Alexis and Avril were like my daughters, even though Morgan wont let me call them that.

After a few minutes...Alexis let me go and suddenly all three of us were face to face with Morgan....
