*Jeff*

We arrived at the karoke bar that was near a show that we were scheduled to be at. Of course, I was doing autographs, and Matt was wrestling. I was still feeling a little down that I had to go to a show that I couldn't compete at myself, but I wouldn't let that ruin our night. I knew Matt knew that I was feeling down about it and that's probably why he brought me out to the bar. That's kind of him, ya know.

That's when we sat down and not even 3 minutes in, we Alexis. She looked over at us and she gave us a small smile, which I had returned. She got up and ran over to me, wrapping her arms around my neck in a hug.

I smiled and kissed her forehead softly before letting her go. "Hey, sweetheart," I said. "How's it going?"

"Good actually. What are you doing?" she asked me.

"We got a show tonight," I said, then caught myself and felt a little sad that I had said that. "Well, Matt does. I have a signing."

"Oh cool!" she exclaimed and I couldn't help but smile at her. "We're going to be there, too! I'm not too sure what were doing yet, but we'll find out when we get there."

"Where's your sister?" I asked, looking around for her.

"Over there with Zack and Coby," she said pointing to their table where they, indeed, were.

"I'm gonna go see her. You stay here with Matt, okay?" I said putting my hand on her shoulder. She nodded.

"Kay kay," she responded. With that, I walked over to the table she directed me in. I stood behind Avril as she was talking to Zack and Coby. She jumped as I put my hands over her eyes and I smirked. "Guess who?"

"Santa?" she asked and I chuckled lightly.

"Nope," I said smiling.

She turned around to me frowning. "Are you still mad at me?" she asked and I couldn't help to feel bad at the sadness in her voice.

"No, baby," I said, sitting down in the chair that Alexis left open. I grabbed her hand, ignoring the glare that Zack gave me. "I could never stay mad at you for long." That caused her to smirk but then she got serious again.

"Then why did you run off like that?" she asked me, that sadness returning to her voice.

"I was upset, and I completely understand if you are still mad at me," I said sadly.

"I'm not mad," Avril said looking down at her hands. "Just a little hurt."

"I had to," I said grabbing her hands. "I didn't want to, but I had to. I didn't want you to see me upset."

"Oh," she replied.

"Yea," I said, looking at her. "I really am sorry."

She smiled before leaning over and hugging me tightly. "Its okay," she whispered in my ear. "I forgive you."

"Okay," I said smiling. I looked over at Zack, who was giving me a glare, and Coby, who was looking away hoping I didn't cause a scene. I got up and walked out the door before the show started. I got a cigarette out and started smoking. I'm not a big smoker, I just only do it when I'm deep in thought. And despite what other people thought, I don't think a lot. I mean, I got into an accident out of my own stupidity, and cheated on Morgan about a billion times. That doesn't take a lot of thinking.

I was thinking currently about my current situation. I didn't know if I could really go back to TNA, it would hurt too much. I know, I sound like a huge baby. But I was scared, truly scared. Not that I wasn't going to wrestle the same, but if I can actually go back to wrestling, period.
