Chapter 74

I told them what had happened and we all took off for the office. Once we all got in there, Jeff looked up at us with a scared and pissed off expression on his face.

"What's going on here?" Matt asked as we all filed in the small office. Dixie turned to look at us and lets just say she did not look happy.

"Your brother raped my nephew!" Dixie said. Matt's face turned from a look of wonder to one of shock.

"What?!" Matt said. "There's got to be some sort of misunderstanding because I know Jeff is NOT gay!"

"Well, then you explain why Ethan came in complaining that Jeff raped him!" Dixie said standing up. I saw a look of *fake* sorrow go across Ethan's face everytime the word rape was mentioned.

"You raped a guy?" Avril asked. "That's gross."

"I think he raped me!" Jeff shouted.

"That's still gross..."

"Why do you believe him?!" Jeff asked frantically, trying desperately to find out what had happened.

"Because hes my nephew!" Dixie responded getting up and pointing at Ethan. "And I don't really see any reason that he would make a big deal over this if it was a lie, Jeffrey!

"So," Avril said. "He went from Mom, to raping guys? So I guess he really does want to be gay." Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth in shock. Oops! I guess she really didn't mean to say that!

Jeff spun around so quickly, he almost gave himself whiplash. "Baby, I'm NOT gay!"

"Well, then why is Ethan saying you raped him?" Alexis asked.

Jeff stalked over to her and grabbed her by the shirt. "Ethan is a liar!"

Avril struggled out of his grasp and ran over behind Zack. At this point, I held him back before he could do any more damage. "Okay!" she shrieked, hiding behind Zack. "I'm sorry!"

Jeff stared at her for a minute. His face dropped all anger and he walked over towards her. "Baby..." he said, stopping when Zack went into overprotective mode and held Avril back from Jeff. "I'm sorry..."

"You didn't have to yell at her," Zack said getting into Jeff's face.

"Why don't you stay out of this?!" Jeff retorted. Because of my pregnancy and Jeff's height I had a hard time holding him back.

"Leave him alone!" Avril shouted, holding onto Zack for dear life. Jeff looked at her with soft eyes.

"Baby," Jeff said. "Its okay."

"No, it's not! You keep yelling at Zack no reason!" Avril shouted. "Just leave him alone!"

"Well, he needs to stay out of this!"

"Hes in this as much as I am! So if you want to yell at him, then you can yell at me instead!"

"Avril, babe, it's okay," Zack said rubbing Avril's arm. "You don't need to stoop down to his level."

"Stay out of this!!" Jeff once again returned to his yelling, frantic state, shoving Zack down. It scared poor Avril half to death and I had to tighten my grip on Jeff to stop him from attacking Zack some more. Avril stood in front of Zack protectively.

"What's wrong with you!" she shouted at Jeff.

"Avril, baby, get out of the way," Jeff said trying to wriggle out of my grasp, but to no avail.

"No, you're going to hurt him! You've hurt everyone else I love! I wont let you hurt Zack again!" she nearly screamed at him.

"I wont hurt him...I promise..." he says calmly.
