So, over the last week, I had a #1 contendership for the world title, and, more importantly, Avril got married to the man she loved. It was a pretty good week if you ask me.

However, the one thing that wasn't good was that Morgan was still miffed at me for protecting Ryah in that fight. Even though she was putting on a front for the family during the wedding, I could tell, she was still pissed.

She wouldn't answer alot of my texts when she would be gone. She also would only speak to me in short sentences. It was tearing me ap--

Wait, was it?

No. Because I expected this. It's like, no matter how much I try to get those girls to some kind of understanding, Morgan won't follow. Not that I blame her. She wasn't the forgive and forget type.

So here it was: the night I've been waiting for for a while now. Me vs. Drew Galloway for the title. I've never faced him before, so this should be interesting.

I woke up that morning and looked around. Trying to see if Morgan was in bed with me. Ya see, that's how mad she was. She wouldn't sleep in the same room as me.

Shaking those thoughts from my head, I got up and threw on a shirt before going to find Morgan.

This shirt to be exact!

I went downstairs to the living room

I went downstairs to the living room. She wasn't in there. I checked the kitchen, bathroom, everywhere and she was nowhere in sight. That started to scare me. I then went out to the back yard, and sure enough there she was, sitting in a tank top and shorts at the edge of the pool with her legs in the water and she was scrolling through her phone.

I walked up behind her and sat down next to her in the pool.

She looked over at me before putting her phone down next to her.

"Hey."

"Whatcha doing out here?" I asked, dipping my legs in the water.

"Nothing." She replied before looking down at the water.

I sighed before wrapping her in a side hug. She laid her head on my chest as I laid my head on top of hers.

"Have I ever shown you something so near to me?"

The question was so out of the blue, Morgan snapped her head up at me.

"That depends. Who are you talking about?" Morgan asked.

I pulled myself out of the water and walked inside over to the kitchen closest. I kept a few pictures of mine and Matt's mother in there.

I grabbed then and went back outside to see Morgan standing there with a confused expression on her face.

"You've seen everyone in my close circle, except for this woman..." I said, handing her a picture.

"Is this your mother?" Morgan asked as she looked at the picture.
