*Jeff*
Here me, Avril and Alexis were all staring at Morgan as she stared back at us, as if she was trying to examine us. She gestured for Avril and Alexis to leave the room and when they did, I just simply put my head down. In truth, I didn't really have the balls to look at her after I poured water on her daughter's friend. I really didn't want to...but I couldn't tell her that.
"I don't understand why you still run around with Ethan. If I were you, I'd of kicked his ass by now." Oh, you don't know how much I wanted to honey. He was trying to embarrass me badly and make me do things that I really didn't want to do and didn't see myself doing given different circumstances. Either way, I couldn't look at her, not at all.
"You know, Ethan is making you do a lot of fucked up stuff, like pouring ice water on a boy who's in his late teens." Wait what? That Coby kid was in his late teens? Finally looking up at her, the redness dying down in my eyes, I asked her how old he was.
"From what Alexis told me, he'll be 20 come November. But that's not the problem. The problem is you dumped a gallon of water on new talent. Not only may the kid get sick, but it might've caused him to lose some self esteem around here." My face began to heat up with guilt, as Morgan began to head for the door.
"Just...good luck with Ethan if you choose to be his personal assistant. The only advice I give you is: stop with the kids. They did nothing wrong." I didn't do anything wrong to Avril and Alexis...and I didn't WANT to pour water on Coby...why am I being a wussy about this? "Oh and Jeff?" Morgan said staring at me as she began to walk out the door. "Tell Ryah once she has that baby, I'm going to kick her ass...and its not a threat, its a promise." She then shut the door behind her and I walked around the locker room trying to keep my guilt in check. I didn't want to have a nervous breakdown or anything in front of Ethan. Any sign of weakness couldn't be shown in front of Ethan.
Ryah walked in about a few minutes later. "Hey Jeff, there is some wet kid that's glaring at me for some re--" She then stopped and for a minute I couldn't figure out why, that is until...
"Jeff," Ryah said. "What happened? You've been crying."
I didn't know I was crying again until Ryah wiped the tears away with her thumb. I looked her straight in the eye. "When my contract is up with Ethan...I'm murdering his ass. I didn't go through 10+ years of being a professional wrestler so that the second I get seriously hurt, I become someone's assistant. I'm not assistant material."
"Okay," Ryah said, rubbing my cheek slightly. It always felt good when she did that, and not a lot of people knew that. Probably because a majority of the males and a portion of the females think that I am a manwhore. "Take a deep breath."
I breathed in slightly as Ryah ran her hands down my arms. "It's okay..." she whispered. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"He made me pour water on him..."
"That kid out there that glared at me? Well no wonder..." she whispered again before hugging me softly.
We heard screaming before we ran out in the hall and we saw Morgan holding Jarrett's arms behind his back, and she looked like she was about to break them. Me and Ryah ran over with the rest of the TNA roster and Dixie. Dixie turned around and halted us and only Drew and the Wolves ran with her to try and get Morgan away from Jarrett.
"Morgan! Morgan stop it!" Dixie said as she ran over to the crowd of GFW stars, causing all of them to back up.
"Morgan...please hun, calm down and let him go," Dixie said as she slipped into her maternal voice. She eventually let go, and Drew grabbed her shoulders.
"Morgan," he said in his Scottish accent, shaking her shoulders slightly. "What the hell are you doing?!" She got a dirty look on her face before slapping his hand away.
"Don't you EVER touch me AGAIN!" she said lowly before walking off. Dixie turned to us and saw that we saw the whole thing.
"There's nothing more to see there, move along..." she said before waving her hands dismissing us. As we were walking back to the locker room, I saw Morgan and PJ talking until they started kissing. I don't know what snapped in me, but I strode over to them and pushed PJ off, crashing my lips on Morgan.
"Jeff what the hell?" Morgan said pushing me off roughly.
"Morgan, I love you."
"Are you high?! I'm with PJ, and I'm happy...with PJ!" Morgan said crossing her arms.
"Morgan," I said. "I know you're happy sleeping with the enemy, but I know, deep down in your kind heart, that you know that I am the one you want to be with." I saw Morgan's eyes gloss over with fresh tears at what I told her, and I could tell that she couldn't find the right words to say.
"Jeff--" Morgan started but PJ put his hands up to stop her.
"Morgan I got this." PJ stepped up to me and looked me straight in the eye. "Hardy, why would she want to be with someone who's afraid to commit to someone? In fact, let's take it back a few years when I was still with WWE and you were here, being high and screwing up a PPV. Why would anyone want to be with someone like that?! I would never do that, and I'm glad Morgan found a real man to be with instead of just a coward who is bowing down to a dick of a World Heavyweight Champion."
That's when I snapped. I didn't hear what he said after that, I just saw red. I didn't need Morgan hearing about what I did even though I'm sure she and the rest of the world heard about that. Honestly, it still stung me whenever someone talked about that to me. Everytime someone brought it up, I had to count in my head from 10 backwards to stop myself from getting upset. But that still didn't stop me from wailing on PJ. Pretty soon he fought back and we were rolling around on the floor beating on each other. I knew this wasn't going to help my injury any but...but, well...he brought up my past, dammit!
When Morgan tried to separate us, she grabbed ahold of my arm and twisted it behind my back. I screamed out in pain as I tried to get out of it and when I did, I went back at it with PJ. Morgan jumped in between us again and screamed at the top of her lungs causing us to stop dead in our tracks. She shoved PJ on his ass and then grabbed my arms again and locked them behind my back.
"STOP FIGHTING! It's not gonna solve anything! And it most definitely won't make me pick one over the other!" she screamed as she looked at me with fire and tears in her eyes, then let me go."Now I'm sick of all the fighting! I'm done. I'll be with Velvet and Madison at the hotel " with one last look to us, she left, causing my heart to break even more.
"Jeffrey!" I heard Ethan yell as he walked towards me. Ryah must've gotten him, and probably saw me try to fight PJ, which was a big no no to Ethan, although he was on the TNA roster. "What did I tell you? Not, our, fight."
"Ethan, not now." I shook my head and started walking away but then I ran into the big brick wall that was Tyrus.
"Yes, now," Ethan said. "Lets go." He grabbed my hand and forcefully dragged me out of the arena, with Tyrus and Ryah following, and PJ watching with an amused smirk on his face.
