How Everything Changed (Book 4)

Chapter 81

(I'm continuing from MorganJHardy365's story The Next Generation. I know I'm lazy XD)

So in short....Avril had an axniexty attack from being in a huge crowd at a nightclub. We see Zack being her night in shining armor whisking her away from the crowd, taking her outside to be calmed down. Matt and Reby come up and see this and promise not to tell Jeff, who would get angry if he ever found out.

*Jeff*

I was sitting in my room when Avril, Matt and Reby, who was carrying Maxel in her arms, came in. I could immediately sense that something was wrong with my daughter and I didn't like it one bit.

"Hey." Avril said softly.

"Avril," I said, getting up slowly, wincing when my leg started throbbing. I ignored it and walked over to her. "What's wrong?" She looked over to Matt and Reby, who looked thoughtful at what they should say.

"She was having an anxiety attack..." Matt said.

"But I'm fine now." Avril said smiling softly.

"Oh my god..." I said. "What happened?

"I was out at a club with Alexis and Coby. It ended up getting too crowded and I got claustrophobic."

"Jeff we calmed her down," Matt said.

"Yea, they calmed me down." Avril added.

I hugged her tightly and kissed her on the forehead. Avril hugged me back.

I was about to let go of her, but I caught the scent of...vanilla on her. What is that?

"You alright?" Avril asked me.

"What is that scent?"

"What are you talking about?" Avril asked with a confused expression

Avril still had that confused expression on her face. "What?"

"The scent of Vanilla. Matt doesn't wear vanilla."

"Oh, uhm.....I....uhm..I'm trying this new perfume! Yea, new perfume. That's what this is!"

"Avril...you're lying."

"I'm just trying this new perfume, well, its actually Alexis' and I had to borrow it." Avril told me.

"Alexis doesn't wear vanilla..."

"She did tonight." Avril said. "I had to borrow hers because I forgot mine."

"Okay so if I call Alexis she will tell me that she wore vanilla."

"Yes?" Avril said hesitantly.

"Okay," I said before grabbing the phone and dialing Alexis' number.

"Hello?" Alexis said on the other end.

"Hey baby girl," I said. "Did you wear vanilla tonight?"

"Uhm, no. I had cherry on. Why?" Alexis asked.

"Avril said that you were wearing vanilla tonight," I said, looking back at Avril who eyes were downcast.

"She probably got it confused. We were in a humongous crowd after all." Alexis said.

"Alexis..." I said slowly. "Baby, tell me the truth. I promise I wont get mad. Was Zack wearing vanilla?"
