River
Robin's POV
It was night and my senses were alarmed. I was at the river, naked because I wanted to take a quick dip.
I have checked the surroundings and figured that no one is around so I have the river all for myself.
When my toes touched the cold water, I immediately relaxed and let myself enjoy it.
I was humming a song that got stuck in my head. I played with the water and smiled when some of it rose up creating beautiful water drops.
The water dropped to the river when I heard a sound from afar.
Fuck, I hope it's not a fucking enemy. I'm naked!
I submerge to the river, hoping to hide myself below, in case it's really an enemy. I'm capable of fighting, but fighting naked?
"May nakataling kabayo sa puno pero walang nilalang ang nandito," I heard a man's voice above. "Pwede ka pong maligo dahil wala namang ibang nilalang dito."
What the fuck?! No! Whoever is above can't swim this river!
Good thing that I can manipulate the water so I sent a whirlpool to threaten them. Please, just go away.
"Nakikita niyo po ba ang nakikita ko?!" the same voice asked.
"I'm not blind," a man's cold and deep voice caught my attention. "I'll wait till it's gone."
No.. it will never be gone. Mauuna pa kayong mawala. But staying underwater is tiring me. I can't keep staying here.
"Look after my horse," he ordered the man. "Leave."
Curse this beautiful river. Curse whoever is above.
Why can't he just leave with that man?!
I felt another presence entering the river so I tried to hide myself in the darkest corner underwater.
"I'm sure I heard someone humming..."
I can't move, I can't swim. He might notice me here.
"Whoever it was... I know she's here," he kept on talking.
I can't be stupid. He knows I'm here.
I took a deep breath. Umahon ako at nakita ang malaking likod ng lalaki.
My heart beat fastened when he slowly looked at me. I made sure that the water would cover my body.
Even with my nervousness, I made sure that I will look confident and intimidating, no one on Wistervale could intimidate me.
Just my Empress, of course.
"There she is," he said in amusement. "I could smell your sweet scent..."
He looked dangerous, like a brute. But do I care? No. He was emitting sex appeal, he looked very... again, dangerous, with his piercing eyes.
"Leave," that was the first thing I said.
"Interesting to see you here alone, and," he smirked. "Naked," he looked at my body but it was covered in water.
"Fuck you," I cursed him with all calmness.
The waters started moving, I got alerted.
"Chill, princess..."
"How did you know I'm a princess?" I said, throwing him my usual bored look.
"Oh, you are?" he chuckled sexily. "I was trying to guess."
How could someone be more annoying than my brothers?
