Soulless

Robin's POV

I only threw him a bored look with the cigarette in my mouth. The smoke came out of my nose and I watched as it rose all the way up.

"What does that mouth do other than smoking?" he casually asked.

"Curse you."

He smirked and leaned on a huge tree. "I expected that."

I used the cigarette one last time and threw it to the side after finishing it. "Tell me," I paused to exhale the smoke. "What do you need for all those maidens?"

"Hmm..." he stared at me intensely. "I'm trying to look for my mate."

I didn't answer. I couldn't care less. My blood is boiling and the only thing I have in mind is to stay alerted in case he attacks me.

"Your dagger had poison? Venom?"

"Deadliest."

"Impressive, princess," he started walking towards me.

When he reached in front of me, he looked down and held my chin and tilted my face to the side so he could smell my neck. "The sweetest scent. I have been dreaming about you."

I smiled in a very seductive way. "I dreamt of you too..."

"You did?" he smirked. "What did you dream about, my little venom?"

I stood up and held onto his shoulder for support and then kicked his huge back, he held onto the stone so he wouldn't fall down the waterfalls.

"I dreamt of killing you, you were bathed in your own blood."

"I've had enough of your violence towards me, Rhiannon," I shivered when he called my name. "If I were to bathe in blood, I'll make sure that it's yours... and I'd be careful not to waste even a drop," he licked his bloody red lips while looking in my eye.

I frowned when my long hair fell to my waist, getting blown by the gentle wind. Because of my sudden movements, my sleeves fell to my shoulder but I don't have time to fix it anymore.

The vampire appeared in front of me and held my sleeves to put it back in place. "Don't tempt me into tasting you, Princess."

"You disgust me," tinampal ko ang kamay niya.
"Leave me alone. Don't show yourself to me again, while I'm still giving you time to escape."

Instead of being intimidated, he took a step closer to me, causing me to take a step back until my back hit the tree. "Imprison me, little venom..." he leaned onto my neck again. "I'd be glad to be your prisoner."

"Lock me up and show me how feisty you are," he continued.

"Make my soulless body crave for your soul."

I punched his jaw but he didn't even budge, his face just turned to another direction. Blood fell to his lips and he just licked it.

He touched my shoulder, sending a voltage of electricity throughout my whole body.
"Enough of your violence, Rhiannon..." he closed his eyes as if he was addicted to my presence. "It would only make me crave for you more."

Tinitigan ko siya ng masama. "Do not make me repeat myself vampires, I have used too many words just talking to someone like you," It was the first time I was this frustrated. "I'm telling you! Leave me the fuck alone. Kingdoms from Wistervale are hunting you."

The side of his lips rose. "But you didn't tell them where my castle was."

I looked away, guilty because what he said was true. "It was a mistake."

"Kill me now," he let go of my shoulders and signaled for me to attack him.

I didn't. I only turned my back on him getting ready to leave. I might give in to him if I don't leave. Baka mapatay ko lang siya.

"You will crave for me too, my presence, everything about me," his voice was warning me.

"Oh, I crave for you, vampire," the waterfall started to fall faster. "I crave for your death. I just couldn't do it now."

"Because you want me alive... you know you can't kill me."

I had to remember everything. My anger towards them. The betrayal. The dead bodies. My brother almost lost his life because of them.

In our family, I'm the only one who could hold a grudge to someone, so much that I can kill whoever I hate in one glance.

So when my brother got cursed, when I found out how to save him from dying, without a word, I went to the vampire who caused him that suffering. After giving him back the curse he bestowed on my brother, I killed him by slicing his head off.

And until now, I feel no regret. Because if it happened again, I will do it, without a word from anyone.

My anger towards them will not be vanish, mauuna silang mawala dahil sa galit ko sa kanila.

Remember it all, Rhiannon. Hold onto that rage and take a step away from him.

After all, he's just an asshole who loves to lust and crave for my blood. I could see him, I know he wants to kill me and suck the blood out of my body until I fall dead.

I calmed down. "Stay away from me," I was speaking softly. "I will never... give in to you and your moves."

I let my portal take me back to Auroravale.

My knees felt so shallow that I almost fell but I managed to keep myself up. The long hallways made me hate my own home. I can't wait to step inside my room.

All I have in mind now is to train or bathe in the river or in the ocean.

I happened to pass by King Percival, he was on his way out but he stopped when he noticed me. His nose looked like he was smelling me and it made my heart beat so fast.

"I smell rage in you... and your soul is burning," death was speaking to me. "But it's not burning like how a soul with so much anger should burn. What have you gotten yourself into, Robin?"

Out of everyone I can bump into, why is it the King of Souls?

I looked away. Fuck. I can't lie to the Lord of Death and Souls. "Why is your soul... burning like that?"

"Have you found your beloved?"

"I haven't," I answered so fast. "I would never."
He studied my face. "Contain your soul. Stay away from him if you must."

"You know?"

How?

"The dead are whispering to me... and your soul is burning for a soulless person..." he sounded concerned. "Robin, I will not tell you what to do. I'm only your King."

But he was my brother too.

"But as a brother... I'm telling you to stay away from that vampire... do not put yourself in danger. He wouldn't hurt you because he knows who you are by now."

It was the longest I heard His Majesty speak. "But everyone... the whole Wistervale will be your enemy... even your Empress. Do not put yourself in that situation, Robin."

"I can only keep this secret, Robin. I will help you if I must," he paused. "But the Empress..."

"I understand," I answered and bowed my head to him.

He stared at me again, not knowing what to do but I only nodded, telling him nonverbally that I will be okay.

"Thank you, Kuya," I told the King.

He nodded. "Take his scent away from you, you know your sister."

I nodded.

I would never acknowledge someone as my beloved, especially if it's fucking vampire who I met in the lake. No one deserves me.

I am my own person and having a beloved is only a waste of time and effort.

I won't love anyone, especially a vampire, if it's him, then I would rather kill myself.
