Mistake

"Where's your puppet?" tanong ko sa kanya dahil hindi ko nakita ang bampirang palagi niyang kasama.

I was sitting on a stone with my hair down. I really wanted to take a dip in the river.

"Why are you looking for him?" hindi ko maintindihan kung galit ba siya dahil sa pag kunot ng noo niya.

"I just got used to seeing the both of you together."

The vampire was still leaning on the tree, his body was exposed and he didn't look like he was embarrassed.

Fucking asshole.

"Why are you going to the other city?"

"To deliver gifts for the king," sagot ko. "What place is this?"

"Nustre," he answered. "This is hidden from the map of Wistervale, only vampires live here."

So my sister didn't completely wipe them out, huh?

"Do all vampires live here?"

He shook his head. "We are scattered everywhere in Wistervale."

"Are you their king?"

"I sit on the highest throne, I am the king of all kings of vampires," he didn't sound arrogant.

"Are you aware of the war that happened?" I couldn't help but ask. "The war that happened in our city?"

"Victor didn't ask for permission when he waged war against your sister, I am not aware of it. I only heard about it when it was over."

Hindi ko alam kung papaniwalaan ko ba siya but I stayed silent.

"He wasn't a royalty but he dared to do something to cause this bullshit," he clenched his jaw. "I was going to kill him but someone already did. He was lucky that I wasn't the one who took his life."

"He wasn't lucky," I smirked. "The lord of death and souls made him suffer, he is still playing with Victor's soul until now for what he did to my sister," I wanted to laugh.

Fucking Victor suffered in the hands of death, and he's not free until the king is done with him. Even after his death, he still suffers.

"If you want to swim you can," his voice was gentle when he talked to me.

That is what I always notice. He looked so dangerous, and cold when he talked to others. But when he talks to me, he turns into a different person.

I stood up and looked at him. "Do not look at me," saad ko.

He sighed and hid at the back of the tree. I began to undress myself and then stepped into the water.

"So beautiful," I whispered.

The river was surrounded by nature, flowers and trees were around. Maximillian would love it here.

"You can come out now," I said.

Nakakapanibago na nakakapag usap kami ngayon ng hindi ko siya sinusubukang patayin.

His piercing eyes looked at me and it sent shivers down my spine, he was staring too much that my heart started to beat so fast.

I saw how he clenched his jaw when his eyes dropped to my neck. I was already naked but I feel like he was undressing me in his mind.

"Fuck you, don't stare too much."

He gulped and cleared his throat. "My apologies."

I enjoyed myself swimming in the river until I realized how dumb and stupid he looked while standing there.
