The Fall

Robin's POV

I tightened my grip on my sword, in case I need it but I'm trying hard not to use it against the vampires.

I adjusted my cloak, only my eyes are seen. Sa sobrang dilim ng lupain nila ay sa tingin ko hindi na ako makikita lalo pa't parang kulay itim na ang asul na suot ko.

"Fuck," reklamo ko nang marinig ko ang mahinang pag patak ng ulan.

I can't fucking stay here anymore, I'll get wet.

Paano ba naman kasi, nasa labas ako ng palasyo ng mga bampira at nakadungaw sa malaking entrada nila nagbabakasakali na makita ang kanilang hari.

I guess I have no choice but to enter his chambers?

And I fucking did.

I flinched when I felt a hand at my back.

"It's you again..."

I slowly turned around, staring at his red eyes.

He doesn't look pleased that I was here. Kung noon ay halos umabot na sa kung saan ang ngiti niya kapag nakikita ko ngayon ay hindi na.

Tila ba isa akong malas na nilalang na nagdadala ng malas kapag kaharap niya ako.

"Alistair..."

"Why are you here again? And fuck, why do you keep going here in my chambers?"

A lump built in my throat when I saw a woman's cloak lying in the huge couch. The smell felt familiar.

Fuck.

Don't break down, Rhiannon. You have to be more patient.

"You fuck anyone now?" malamig kong tanong.

He tilted his head, I could see how he was playing with his tongue inside his mouth. "For some reason I can't fucking fuck any woman."

I wanted to smile because of his response but the hurt was still there.

"Why... can't you remember me?" naluluha ko na namang tanong. "Out of everyone you could forget, why does it have to be me? Why does it have to be us, Alistair?"

His brows furrowed and his jaw clenched.

"What the fuck are you talking about, woman?"

"Can't you at least try?" pagsusumamo ko. "Can't you at least find something in your heart... something that can make you remember?"

"You are an enemy," aniya. "If I really was in love with you... what made you think that I didn't just use you?"

Here he goes with his knives dressed as words again.

"You kept telling me that I loved you... how are you so sure that I really did?"

I closed my eyes and swallowed the lump in my throat. "Because your voice when you told me that you love me sounds like the melodies of my favorite song," my voice broke down at the same time the tear fell down my cheek.

"That is your basis?" he chuckled.

"I believed you when you said that you love me because I know... I know that you would never lie to me Alistair," sinubukan kong hawakan ang kanyang pisngi ngunit nilayo lamang niya ang kanyang mukha.

And again, it broke my heart.

"Did you even try to remember?"

Pumikit siya ng mariin, tila nagtitimpi na naman sa akin.

"I need you to leave this instant," naiinis niyang sabi.

"I won't," pagmamatigas ko. "I won't leave, not until you show me that you're trying to remember me."
