Hold Me Tight
Alistair's POV
"Fuck, I don't fucking need this right fucking now," I cursed when I realized that I got stuck inside my fucking portal. "Fuck!"
"Young man, you really match her."
I turned to see who spoke behind me and saw a man wearing royal clothes, he was standing there like he owns the fucking place.
"Whoever the fuck you are, I do not need to speak to you I have to find my mate," I spoke with so much authority but the man just smiled.
"Napaka init ng ulo niyong dalawa, bagay nga kayo," he shook his head and clicked his tongue. "Ano na lamang kung magka anak kayo?"
"Who the fuck are you?"
"Pagbibigyan kita sa pagsasalita mo sa akin ng ganyan, bampira," he said. "Yang si Robin, bugnutin yan noong bata pa lamang siya, magkatulad nga kayong dalawa."
"Why do you know my mate?" I sounded so possessive but that is who I am when it comes to her.
"She's my daughter, why would I not know her?" he smirked.
Oh fuck. Did I just fucking messed up?
"Archibald..." I acknowledged the king in front of me.
His face reeked of disappointment when he realized that I didn't call him king. "Wala kang respeto sa akin."
"I apologize..."
King Archibald shook his head at me and sighed. "You are so unlike the beloveds of my children, you do not need my help."
"So why are you here?"
The king glared at me before speaking again. "The council lied to you," he said.
"They didn't, I saw the head Robin was holding, it was a council."
"No, I know that Robin killed that fool," the king walked to the pool of blood in my portal. "The law that is forbidden to kill councils, it was a lie," he paused. "Oh, it sounded wrong, the law is true but the reason behind it is a lie."
"Can... you explain it faster? I need to get your daughter," I ordered him, making him look at me in disappointment.
"When my father ruled Auroravale, your kind has always been a problem to everyone in Wistervale," he explained. "Not until the vampire stopped causing havoc to the cities, my father, who almost killed a council, was behind the temporary stop of the war."
"The vampire lied," he continued. "They said that when a council is killed, a plague, deaths, or diseases will occur in Wistervale."
"That is absurd," I said. "Robin killed one and nothing happened."
"Tama ka," he laughed. "Nauto ng bampira ang aking ama. The cities created a rule that councils should not be killed, scared that a plague will happen, because they are determined to protect their people. Years gone by and everyone forgot about that lie they spread but the rule remained."
"Robin is a victim," the king stated. "And my daughter is bleeding now," he added. "You have to rescue her."
"How will I make everyone believe that the rule is nonsense?"
The king showed his hand what seemed like a ball of light turned into a diamond. "Here," he gave it to me so I accepted it. "Make sure you gather the council in front of everyone before you kill them. Throw the diamond and truth will resurface."
"Okay," I said.
"Hindi ka man lang magpapasalamat, bampira?"
"Archibald, you're doing this for your daughter too."
