Chapter 27: Cage

Cage

Alistair's POV

"Excuse me," I told Sidra, who was sitting in the chair in front of mine.

"Saan ka pupunta?"

She had oddly been staying in the palace and kept asking about the locked room... where Robin was inside.

"I have to look at something."

"Maaari bang sumama?"

I only shook my head at her and walked away.

When I passed by Robin's room, I heard her beautiful voice singing an emotional song that made my heart break in pieces.

She didn't even realize that I was at the door, watching her cry as she sang. When I couldn't take it anymore, I went out but before I could even take another step away from her door I found myself in front of her.

She was crying... I tried so hard to act like I didn't care, I really tried but I can't. It pains me more to see her cry. I can't stand her crying.

The next thing I know, I was already holding every inch of her body, kissing her endlessly and making love with her.

She might think of it as a mistake but to me, it was everything.

She was everything.

When I woke up with her sleeping in my arms, I know I was fucked. I was ready to risk everything for her again.

I know I would fall to my knees and beg her to stay, I know I would do anything to make her take the risk and be with me.

When she started to move, I was thinking that she would beg me to leave her alone but she didn't.

Instead, she moved closer to me and wrapped her arms around my body.

"Robin..."

"Good morning," the gentleness in her voice made me forget all the shits that has happened to us.

I was ready to risk again.

I took a deep breath and pulled her closer to me, kissing her forehead a couple times.

"Can I leave the room?" she suddenly asked.
I stiffened. She wants to go?

"Don't worry, I won't try to escape. I just want to go out, you can also be with me every time," she gave me assurance. "I promise."

"Okay," I sighed. "But you can't go back to your city."

Not now. Not when your life is in danger.

"Thanks."

Robin's POV

"Nakakalabas ka na ah?" Amon had this idiotic smile in his face. "Kaso palagi mo akong kasama, ginawa mo akong bodyguard."

"I already told Alistair that I won't escape," I said flatly.

"Kaso nandito si Sidra kaya delikado pa rin," he answered.

Now that I can go out, I thought that I wouldn't be that bored but fuck, there's nothing I can do in this huge ass palace.

"Where's Alistair?"

"Pinapaalis niya ulit si Sidra, natatakot siguro si boss na makita ka nun."

"Why?"

"Paano ko ba sasabihin to hmm?" Amon held his chin, as if he was thinking. "Diba sinabi ko na sayo na anak ng council si Sidra? Hindi naman tayo bobo para hindi natin malaman na may gusto siya kay bossing, kapag nakita ka niya... baka anong gawin niya sayo."
