Robin's POV

"Alistair?" I was looking for him outside his room because when I woke up he wasn't there.

Sa tingin ko ay gabi na ngunit hindi ako sigurado dahil sa dilim ng lugar nila. "Amon," tawag ko sa lalaking nakatunganga sa gilid.

"Yawa!" he looked startled. "Hinahanap mo si bossing?"

I nodded with a blank expression in my face.

"May kausap, wag kang lalayo sakin ah? Baka di kana maabot ng kapangyarihan ko."

"Who's he talking to?"

"Si Sidra na tanga," he laughed to himself. He stopped when he realized that I still look serious. "Pinapaalis ni boss, wag kang magselos."

"Do you want to die?"

"Ayan ka na naman! Ganyan ba talaga dito?"

"Where's Alistair?" baliwala ko sa kanya.

"Magkausap nga kasi sila," kumamot siya sa kanyang ulo.

"I want to go see him."

"Baka makita ka ni Sidra," iling niya. "Mapapahamak lang kayo ni boss."

"It's okay," I said. "I'll just kill her."

Amon's eyes widened. "Puta— nakakatakot ka!" he hugged himself. "Bawal yan, hindi pwede! Importanti si Sidra sa mga bampira."

"Why?"

"Anak ng council," he shrugged his shoulders. "Bawal patayin, magagalit tatay niyang panot."

"I don't care, I'll just kill her father too," I smiled.

"Huwag ka nalang ngumiti, mas nakakatakot tingnan."

Nawala ang ngiti ko at sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "Take me to Alistair."

Amon sighed, he has no choice. He takes the leads towards where that vampire is and I just followed him behind.

We stopped and then he slowly opened the door revealing Alistair who was in front of the big window with Sidra just beside him.

Sidra is really beautiful, her red eyes were gleaming with emotions I couldn't tell while she was looking at Alistair.

"What's the matter? Ngayon nalang ako hindi maaaring manalagi dito sa palasyo mo? Hindi ba't parati naman akong nandito noon."

"That was before, I already told you, Sidra. You can't be here all the time."

"Bakit nga?" pangungulit niya. She tried to hold Alistair's hand but he held his own waist instead to avoid her. "Alistair..."

Amon was silent while listening to them. I guess he loves gossip too?

"Just go home, Sidra. Your father might be looking for you."

"Hindi ako aalis hanggat hindi mo ipaintindi sa akin kung bakit ayaw mo akong pumunta dito."

Alistair's eyes turned red, the kind of red that I haven't seen before.

"Patay na, nagalit na..." Amon whispered.

Alistair's aura seemed off... so chilling even while looking at him. "Have you forgotten that I am also your king?" The void in his voice sent shivers down my spine. "You serve me... and I'm telling you that I don't want to see your face again."

"B-but..." the woman stuttered. "Hindi ko lamang maintindihan kung bakit bigla nalang ganito."

"I found my mate, does that give you the answer you're looking for?"
