Robin's POV

"So when you kill a council, no one could defend you? Not even a king or an empress?" Blair asked.

We were gathered outside the huge terrace of the palace.

"Yeah," Tango ng Empress. "It's in the law of every kind, even vampires follow those rules."

"Anong gagawin kapag nakapatay ako ng council ng mga bampira?" sabat ni Magnus.

"That means no one could defend you, not even me," the Empress answered. "Nakapatay ka na ba ng konseho?"

"Ha? Nagtatanong lang. Baka si Robin kaya pang gawin iyan," pasa nito sa akin.

Fucker.

"Ano ba kasing meron sa mga konsehong yan? Hindi ba mas mahalaga ang tulad mo?" tanong ni Magnus.

"They help build a city, they make the rules, kahit konseho lamang sila ay mahalaga pa rin sila at kailangang protektahan."

"Darling, where's Amara?" tanong ni Leon sa asawa nang sumunod ito sa amin at wala ang prinsesa.

"She went out with Alora," she answered.

I looked away when Leon snaked his hands around Lady Adelaide's shoulders.

"Ate kapag ba tuluyan ng nakalbo ang isang konseho natin pwede ako yung pumalit?"

Tumawa ang mga kapatid ko dahil sa tanong ni Magnus. He's right though, Ramil is close to getting bald.

"Nasisiraan ka ng talaga, Magnus," iling ng kapatid namin. "Ngunit kung nais mong maging konseho, dapat may alam ka sa posisyon na papasukin mo."

"I have books you can read about being a council if you want," alok ni Tobias.

"Ay, dapat pa lang magbasa? Huwag nalang," tanggi nito.

We all shook our heads in unison because of Magnus, not until we all turned to look in the same direction.

Smoke... There was smoke everywhere.

"Anong nangyayari?!" naabala ang mga kapatid ko at mas naging alerto.

"It's a few meters away from the city," Tobias said while looking at the smoke. "Where are Amara and Alora?!"

Fuck.

"A-ang sabi nila ay mangunguha sila ng mga bulaklak," kinakabahan na sagot ni Adelaide.

"Don't just stand there, move," malamig na sambit ko at iniwan sila.

"I know where they are," anunsyo ng empress at tumingin sa akin. "You're the fastest, get them. They're near the gates," utos niya.

I didn't say a word and left. I was nervous... I'm just hoping that nothing has happened to Amara and Alora.

"Let's get you out of here," agad kong sambit nang makita ko sila ngunit ganun na lamang ang kaba ko nang makita ko si Alora na nakahandusay sa lupa.

"She fainted..." umiiyak na sabi ni Amara.

"It's okay..." pang aalo ko. "We're going to take her to the palace hmm? Stop crying."

There were already guards everywhere and leaders from different villages in our city were already at the palace getting ready.

Tobias came running to us with worry in his eyes when he saw Alora. She was lying on the floor.

"What happened?!"

"I think it's from the smoke," I told him. "Get the healers," utos ko sa guwardiya. "Evette, lead the guards. Take your leave."

"I'm going with Evette," saad ni Blair.
