*Katniss Pov*
I am sitting on the couch and then Buttercup hops into my lap and starts making biscuits. I think it is so cute when he does this and it reminds me of Peeta when he makes bread.
Speaking of Peeta, I have no clue where he is I woke up and I could not find him. Usually he tells me if he goes to the bakery or not.
I decide to call the bakery but James picks up one of Peeta's workers.
Hey Katniss whats up? He asks.
Hey James is Peeta there right now. I ask
I don't think so let me ask Molly. He says.
Molly is another one of Peeta's workers, she is very sweet and we are friends.
He is not here. He says.
Oh okay. I say.
Where could he be? I think.
I decide to go look at Haymitch's place because sometimes he visits there.
I barge in the house.
Hey sweetheart.
Hey. I say.
Where is Effie. I ask concerned because she is not in the house.
She is visiting the Capitol to gather the rest of her stuff so she can officially move in with me. She also saying goodbye to a couple people.
What do you need sweetheart. He says in an angry tone.
Is Peeta here? I ask.
No I think he went to lunch at the hob, I thought he brought you with him.
No.. I say hurt.
Maybe he just wanted some alone time sweetheart. He says.
Okay I'm going to head home now. I say.
I walk through the victors village back to my house with thoughts racing through my mind. Why would he not tell me he was leaving to get lunch. Should I go meet up with him?
I decided to just go back to my house and Buttercup.

About an hour passes and I sit in the same spot and I hear keys open the door.
Peeta walks in the living room greeting me.
Hey Kat! He says cheerfully.
Hi. I mumble annoyed.
Did you eat? He asks. Yeah I made myself cereal. Did you burn the cereal. He asks laughing.
No I mumble while walking upstairs. He sighs.
I think he can sense I am upset but neither of us say anything.

About 3 hours later he makes dinner and he sets my plate on the table next to his. He sits down smiling at me, but I grab my plate and go to my room.
I see his smile fade as he starts eating.
I begin eating in bed and about an hour passes and I head to bed I wear one of my shirts to bed and not his because I don't want to go ask him where he put them.
I hear his loud feet walk up the stairs and I go to my side of the bed. He comes in the room and gets dressed and gets into bed.
Goodnight Kat. He says.
I say nothing back.

"I am alone in the house just like I was yesterday, but this time it is diffrent. Peeta comes home and he doesn't say anything to me but he slaps me. I flinch in pain and he doesn't make me dinner. I ask him where he was at. It's none of your fucking business. He says pissed. He slams me down on the floor and he walks outside leaving me here on the floor bleeding. I cry in pain until I cant cry anymore."

I scream and Peeta comes over to me trying to hug me, but I don't let him.
"GO AWAY". I scream and cry.
He looks offended, but he listens and goes downstairs to sleep on the couch. I lay there crying my eyes out, and I eventually go back to sleep.

The next morning Peeta is gone again. I get even more angry and this time I decide to go to the hob to find him.
I braid my hair and get dressed. I slip on my boots and walk through the sunny weather.
I approach the hob and I see Peeta at this restaurant, but across from him is a girl. She is blonde with pale skin and blue eyes. She looks like someone from the merchant section in 12.
I then realized who this mysterious woman is.
"It's Delly."
I want to go up to them and confront Peeta for cheating on me, but I can't. So instead I just run home crying my eyes out.
About an hour passes and he walks in the house and comes up to me to see me crying.
What's wrong Kat? He asks sitting down next to me.
"STOP ACTING LIKE YOU HAVE NO CLUE, I THOUGHT YOU REALLY LOVED ME. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS FOR ME TO LOVE YOU AND TRUST YOU!" I scream.
Katniss I do love you. He says.
"THEN WHY THE HELL WERE YOU CHEATING ON ME WITH DELLY. I scream.
I wasn't we were just having lunch together and talking about how we have been.
Then why didn't you tell me you were going to go catch up with her! Peeta I woke up and you were gone you could have told me! I yell.
I'm sorry. He says.
Bullshit. I say annoyed.
I run out of the house slamming the door and I go to Haymitch's house. I walk in the house crying.
Sweetheart. What's wrong. He asks sympathetically.
"Peeta cheated on me." I cry.
What do you mean?! He asks confused.
He was at lunch with Delly and he didn't tell me.
Sweetheart I am sure he is not cheating on you, that boy loves you to pieces. He says.
If he loved me why would he be on a date with Delly. I don't think he understands how hard it was for me to trust him.
He knows how hard that was for me, but he still decided to cheat on me and throw everything we had away.
Why don't you go talk to him. I am sure you misunderstood. He says.
Okay. I say.
I walk in the house to see Peeta on the couch running his hands through his blonde wavy hair with his face stained with tears.
Buttercup jumps off his lap and he notices I walked in. Buttercup begins to run his head on my leg purring.
Katniss I am so sorry. I did not cheat on you Delly told me she was visiting and wanted to meet up. The only reason I did not tell you was because I did not want you to worry.
I worried more when you didn't tell me. I say.
I am so sorry I promise I wasn't cheating on you and Delly is just a friend.
Okay. I say looking down
Do you forgive me? He asks.
Yes. I say.
He lets out a sigh of relief and he walks towards me hugging me.
I am so sorry Kat.
It's alright. I say.
I press my mouth to his giving him a sweet and long kiss. Oh how I have missed those lips. He kisses me back and I embrace him again.
