I'll find you

*Katniss Pov*

I cry slumped against a tree branch. Why does my life have to be this way, I wish I was dead and gone..forever. 

I havent felt this way in awhile, and I never thought I would feel this after my baby girl was born, but things are just so hard right now.

I realize it is starting to get dark, so I begin to head home.

As I walk down a path of leaves I feel a pair of arms grab me and cover my mouth. I try to scream, but it is just a muffled cry

I kick the mysterious figure in the shins and he releases the grip on my mouth. I scream help as loud as I possibly can. 

Then that is all I remember until I blackout.

*Peeta Pov*

I have been looking for hours, and I still can't find her. Where could she have gone? 

I decide to go ask Haymitch for help and go check on Willow, I left her with Haymitch as soon as Katniss ran off. 

I knock on his door and he's giving me a dirty look. Probably because I woke him, so he could watch Willow. Effie obviously did not mind. 

"What". He says aggravated.

I" still can't find her Haymitch, I have been looking for hours and I can't loose her she is my everything." I say all in one

"It's gonna be alright boy, we'll find her."

"Come in darling." Effie says in a welcoming voice. I sit down on the couch, and Effie goes to the kitchen to make me some tea. 

"All right where did you check so far." He asks me. 

"I checked everywhere, our house, Johanna's house, Annie's house, Gale and Claudine's house, the woods, the bakery, the hob, and I asked Greasy Sae if she saw her anywhere."

"Okay kid don't think we're looking hard enough, look through the whole district I am sure we'll find her." He says to me. 

I nod my head and we both go outside to look. It is very dark, and wherever she is I know she is scared. 

I don't know where she is, but I will find her. I think to myself. 

I do what Haymitch said and look all around the district. Every crevice, and every corner. Still... I can't find her anywhere.

I meet back up with Haymitch to see if he had any luck. 

"Haymitch did you find her?" I ask him. 

"No, we both checked everywhere and it is getting late. I'm sorry boy, but we have to look more in the morning." He says.

"No Haymitch, I can't let her spend the night alone in the dark." I say. 

"I know, but if she really needs you she'll come home. We will look more tomorrow I promise. He says." 

"Fine you go to sleep, I won't give up on her."

"No, Peeta I am not going to let you look around for her at midnight alone. He says to me in a firm voice."

"Please Haymitch I can't give up on her." I say. 

"I'm sorry boy, we will wake up at sunrise tomorrow to go look for her. I promise. He says to me in a reassuring voice."

"Fine." I say knowing he wont budge. 

We walk back to Victors Village in silence, and Effie and Willow are already asleep. We split ways on the path to our houses.

I unlock the door and walk in my empty home. I walk to our bedroom and I go to sleep without my Katniss. 

"I will find her tomorrow."

Sunrise creeps through my window and I immediately jump out of bed and get dressed. I run out the door to Haymitch's house. 

I barge in the house, and I sprint upstairs to wake him. I see that he is already up, so we both head outside to go look some more. 

I decide to contact Johanna, Annie, Gale, and Claudine to help me find her. Annie and Claudine have to stay home to take care of the kids, so Gale and Johanna come help me. 

When they arrive I explain everything that happened and we all start to look. I get a call from Annie and she says she found a news report about something. 

I go over to her house right away. 

"Annie show me the news, now." I say firmly. 

"Jeez." She says. 

"Sorry, Annie I am just very worried and I got no sleep at all so i'm very stressed." I say. 

"You're good Peeta, I understand". She says turning on the TV. 

"Last night in district 12 there was commotion in the woods. There was a loud blood curdling scream at exactly 11:48 PM. A strange black beat up vehicle was caught driving around right after the situation occurred. The strange vehicle was caught driving to an abandoned house at 12:36 AM. That's it for today folks, stay safe." The reporter says.

"She is at an abandoned house!" I shout. 

I will go find her.
