Dress shopping

Today I am going dress shopping with Annie, Johanna and Claudine.  I need to find my wedding dress and my bridesmaids also need dresses. 

I eat my breakfast and get dressed for the day. I walk downstairs and see Peeta cleaning the kitchen. 

Bye Peeta. I say give him a quick kiss. 

Bye Kat, love you. He says. 

Love you. I say and walk out the door. I met up with all the girls by the gate of Victor's Village.  

Hey guys. I say walking up to all of them. 

They all say hello and we hop in Johanna's car and drive to the dress shop. When we arrive we all walk in and start looking for the perfect dress. 

Hello ladies what are we looking for today. Says a woman with black hair and a red dress. 

Hi we are looking for a wedding dress and some bridesmaid dresses. Alright what design are you looking for for the wedding dress? Asks the lady. 

I'm looking for a strapless or an off the shoulder look with a v neck shape. I say. 

Alright I can bring out a couple of options. She says. 

She brings out 3 white dresses and I get changed in the first option in the dressing room. The dress is an off the shoulder look with a tight bodice and flows at the bottom. 

I personally think this one is a little too many layers at the bottom, but still is beautiful. 

I walk out of the dressing rooms and show everyone the dress. 

I think its alright. Annie and Claudine say. It looks like you stuffed pillows under your dress. Says Johanna. 

I know right I say laughing. I walk back into the dressing room to try on the next option. 

This one is a strapless square neck that is tighter and has a train flow out with a white flower pattern on it. 

I walk out of the dressing room and look in the mirror and see myself in the beautiful white dress. 

Katniss that one is gorgeous. Says Annie. 

You look beautiful. Says Claudine.

Bread boy wouldn't be able to take his eyes off you. Says Johanna. I laugh and walk back into the dressing room.

I like this one much more because it is less layers and fits around my body perfectly. It is almost perfect, but I would really like a v neck future which this one does not have. 

I try on the last dress and this one is exactly what I wanted. It is a strapless v neck with a tight bodice and flows out at the bottom with another flower pattern. 

 There is also a bow on the back of the dress that pulls the whole look together. 

I walk out the dressing rooms and everyone has a shocked look on their faces. I am in love with this one. I say. 

You have to get that one. Says Annie and Claudine agree. 

That dress literally looks stunning on you brainless I can't lie. Johanna says laughing. 

I know I am definitely buying this one. I say. 

Hello ladies did we pick out what we wanted? Asks the lady. 

Yes I say can we purchase this one? I ask. 

Of course just follow me. I follow her and all the girls look at some other dresses that are displayed. 

She scans the dress and I pay her the money and she puts it in the back for me to pick up on my way out. 

We start looking for some dresses for the bridesmaids and they all are looking for a black dress with spaghetti straps that is tight but flows out slightly at the bottom. 

We found a couple options and they all try on the first option. 

The first one they try on is a black dress with a snatched waist and a flowy bottom. I think it looks beautiful, but I know they wanted more of a tighter look. 

I like it but not quite what we were looking for. Says Claudine. 

Everyone agrees and they try on the next dress. 

They all walk out with a tight dress with straps in the back and a bow that ties at the end of the waist. 

They all agree on the dress and checkout. I grab my dress and we all say goodbye then head back to our homes. 

I walk in the door and Peeta is not there so I decide to go hide my wedding dress in a spare closet. 

I figure he is probably in his art room, so I checked there first. 

I see him painting a picture of me in the meadow with a yellow sundress and buttercup in my arms. 

Wow. I say. 

I seem to startle his because he jumps a little. Do you like it. He asks. 

I like it, but I am not that pretty. I say. 

Kat yes you are you are more beautiful than words can even describe and I never want you to forget that. No matter what anyone tells you, you'll always be gorgeous. 

Thanks Peeta, you're not so bad yourself. I laugh. 

How was dress shopping? It was good I found the most perfect dress. I say. 

I can'y wait to see it. He says.

About a couple of hours pass and Peeta and I decide to head to bed. 

I get in bed and I lay on his chest and fall asleep dreaming about our wedding day that is soon to come.
