Is this real?

*Katniss Pov*

"I am in my living room while watching the news and then I see Peeta walk towards me. You killed my mother. He mutters. I then realize that Snow is standing right next to him. You will pay Ms. Everdeen. He tells me. Peeta punches me in the gut and Snow slaps me across the face. This is what you get for killing my mother! He screams once again. They both beat me for what feels like years"

I jolt awake thrashing around in the bed. I bring my knees to my face and silently cry, so no one can hear me. 

After Peeta told me that he blames me for killing his mother the mental pain has been eating me alive. He is not wrong though. 

I don't even know why he married me. I am a horrible person. 

I get up to use the restroom and then I realize that there is blood on my pants. I scream and call for Haymitch. 

"Have I lost my baby?"  

Haymitch comes running in and I cry while he runs to go get Peeta. 

About a minute later Peeta comes running in the room. He scoops me up not saying a word. He holds me tight as he runs to the car. 

He sets me down in the passenger seat and drives to the hospital. 

We both remain silent not daring to say a word to one another. I cry into my hands. I killed my baby. 

We arrive at the hospital and Peeta picks me up and we get a room right away. 

I get laid down on a hospital bed and then the doctors leave to go do some tests. 

I cry and Peeta sits next to me. 

It will be alright Katniss. He says to me. 

I'm so sorry Peeta. I say through sobs. 

I shouldn't have ever snapped at you, and I know you were only trying to help me. I also don't regret that we are married one bit at all. 

It's alright Katniss, and should be the one apologizing. He says. 

Do you really believe I killed your mother? I ask him. 

No Kat, I was just angry and said horrible things I did not mean. I do not believe you are the cause of my mothers death. The games are.

I love you. I say to him. 

I love you to Kat. He says giving me a kiss on the forehead. 

Good news. The doctor says walking in. 

You did not lose the baby. The blood was from the expansion of your cervix, and you are in labor. He says to me. 

I cry tears of joy. 

Thank you. Peeta tells the doctor. 

Mrs. Mellark, you will be having very painful contractions, but you can hit you call button and I doctor will be right in. She tells me. 

I am Mrs. Whitlock and will be helping you deliver the baby today.

Okay thank you. I say.

I hug Peeta and our lips meet. We are interrupted by the ring of Peeta's phone. 

Haymitch? He says. 

No the baby is fine, she is in labor, okay sounds good bye. He says.

He was making sure you were alright. He says. 

Oh okay. 

Suddenly a sharp pain goes through my body. I groan from the pain. A worried look crosses Peeta's face. 

Are you alright? he asks worrily.

OF COARSE NOT. I say angrily. 

Sorry. He says.

About an hour later my doctor comes in to see how far I am. 

Alright you are 10 centimeters, it is time to start pushing Mrs. Mellark. He says to me. 

A worried look crosses my face and Peeta notices. 

He gives me his hand and gives me a reassuring kiss on the hand. I love you. He whispers to me in a sweet voice. 

Push! Mrs. Whitlock says to me. 

I try my hardest to push and I squeeze Peeta's hand so hard I am probably hurting him. 

Tears fall down my face. 

Alright keep pushing. Mrs Whitlock says. 

I push as hard as I can and pain goes through my body. It feels as if my guts were being ripped apart. 

You are never getting another baby! I scream at Peeta. 

Okay that is fine. He says to me.

Keep pushing Mrs. Mellark I can see the head you're almost done. She tells me.

I push more and cry out of pain. One more push. She tells me. 

I give it my all and push as hard as I can.  

I hear the cry's of my baby and she is taken away to be cleaned up. You're all done Mrs. Everdeen. Mrs. Whitlock tells me. 

You did it. Peeta tells me smiling. 

He rubs my arm and wipes my tears away. 

A nurse brings me my baby wrapped in a pink blanket sleeping peacefully. It's a girl. The nurse tells me. 

As my baby girl is put into my arms I feel relieved. 

All of this hard work, and she is finally here. 

I hand her to Peeta and he stares at our little baby and we both wait for her to awake. 

About 10 minutes later out baby girl opens her eyes. As she opens her eyes she reveals her big blue orbs. Just like the ones Peeta has. 

Peeta, her eyes there just like yours. I tell him. 

He smiles. 

She has little dark brown hairs on her head, just like her mommy. He tells me. 

What do you want to name her. He asks me. 

Willow. I say immediately

Welcome to the world Willow Mellark. He says to our beautiful baby girl. 

I am so lucky to have Peeta, and now I am even luckier to have my Willow. I don't need anything else, but them.
