You walk out into the morning briefing and can instantly feel everybot's gaze on you. Being 1 of the 2 femmes on board the vessel already brought a lot of attention (not bad attention, just curiosity because there weren't practically any femmes on board) to you. You were hoping to have gone unnoticed, but you should have known the chances of that. It was pretty evident of the night you had, so every time someone stared at you, and you noticed, you shot them a glare right back in their direction.

'Come on, have mechs never seen an exhausted femme before? Is this like a first or something?' you questioned yourself, zoning out while lord Megatron was talking. He was going on about how they were going to station some sort of attack on the Autobots by trapping them in a mine. How original. You've been stationed on this ship for a little over a month, give or take, yet that plan was mentioned hundreds of times. And every single time it never worked. Every single plan you hear that utters the words "energon mine" in it fails miserably.

In almost no time the meeting was adjourned, and everyone went to where they usually go to. You were walking out the door, when all of a sudden you heard Megatron call your designation.

"____, do you mind staying back for a bit? There is a slight predicament I want to discuss between the 2 of us."

You swallowed your fear and walked towards him. Stopping a few feet in front of him, you bowed down.

"What can I, ____ your humble servant, do for the mighty lord Megatron," you asked, trying to be as formal as possible. You still had no idea what you were supposed to say when talking to Megatron, or how on Cybertron you were supposed to act.

He looked at you for a split second before answering, "____, you flatter me. But the predicament is pertaining to today's assault we have planned. As you may know, many of our troops are still unfit for battle from the last beatdown we suffered under the servos of the Autobots. With the vehicons being out of battle, we need as much bot power as we can get. That being so, do you have any previous fighting experience?"

You knew this day was coming. You knew that you would have to fight one of these many solar cycles. You just wish it wasn't today, when you were a very visible mess. You knew you didn't have nearly enough experience that one should have before battle, but you were put in many situations where you had to fight to defend yourself.

"Y. . . yes lord Megatron. I do pertain some combat experience."

"How delightful. Make yourself familiar with the plan we discussed today. You can go now."

Perfect. Now you also had to fight against the ruthless autobots. From talking with some vehicons, it seemed like there wasn't a lot of them, though you could never get a definite amount. Some said there was 5, some said 7, some said 9. Yet they always managed to beat the Decepticons every time they battled. How? You knew they had a prime on their team, but still. 100 v 7 feels unfair, but no the 7 somehow win.

You enter the med-bay to what usually awaits you. Knock Out was preparing everything along with Breakdown. You joined in on the "fun" too.

"Good morning ____- what on Cybertron happened to you?! You look horrible!" Knock Out gasped in surprise. You heard Breakdown snicker a bit at his blatant statement.

"Geez thanks Knock Out. I just had a bad night's recharge, nothing to worry about. And I just didn't have time to fix up my face plates like I usually do. But it is what it is."

Knock Out looked around for a second before he took something out from his sub-space. It was a small vile with a label in the front.

      "Here."

"No way in the pits am I taking that. Are you trying to drug me or something?" you ask, weirded out by what this mech was doing.

"No, I'm trying to be helpful. It's just energon mixed with a bit of what the humans call 'diesel'. I keep a bit in my sub-space just in case I'm too tired to work. And you my friend are definitely going to need it."

You looked at it for a bit and took it from his hands. You just stared at the vial at first, noting that it had a green tone to it. Primus knows what it would do to you if you drank it. Then again, Knock Out was a doctor, so why would he harm his patients/workers.

"Bottoms up." With that you guzzled the little bottle, throwing away the glass container. "Yum." It was pretty gross; the taste was not what you expected.

"So, when will it kick in?"

"It's different for everyone. For me, a few minutes. But for Breakdown, it was a few seconds."

Welp, hopefully it kicked in soon. You waited the rest of the day for when the plan would begin. Throughout the very long solar cycle, you were constantly fidgeting with your digits. Patients. Fidgeting with digits. Washroom run. Fidgeting with digits. You were just so nervous, nothing could help you.

Finally, the time came. Vehicons were rushing into the main control room to be ground-bridged out of there, and you followed behind. You were a shaking mess, and to top it off the stupid drink wasn't working! Still tired as ever! You thought that maybe it had worn off, but you hadn't felt anything.

You were the last one to go through the portal. Or so you thought. Following right behind you was Soundwave, you guessed he went in last because he had to close the portal also. Well, atleast you had a familiar face- er visor to battle alongside with. But then again, you felt pressured to not make mistakes in front of him. You needed to be perfect in front of him it felt. You hated the way you felt, because friends shouldn't feel the need to be perfect in front of eachother.
