You exited the other side, and the view was not exactly what you had expected. It was pretty much your first time stepping on Earth's ground, and you were not expecting what would await you. For starters, everything was super dark. The ground was very hard and dry. The walls were the same as the ground, with a rough and uneven texture.
'Is this what the whole planet is like? Where is the sun that we see in the clouds? How do the organisms live here?' you questioned to yourself. You wanted to ask someone, but it felt like such a stupid question to say.
Everybot started to scram to get in place. Vehicons used the uneven texture to their advantage and hid behind ledges. A few of them placed a LOT of energon in the center, in an attempt to activate any energon signals to drag in the autobots and cover the Decepticons' signals. Hopefully, they were gullible enough to fall for this. But then again, hopefully they didn't show up, so you don't have to fight at all.
-------------------------- Back at the Autobot base
"Optimus, I am getting a major energon reading from an abandoned mine used previously by the Decepticons," Ratchet alerted his leader while staring at the screen displayed in front of him.
"Energon? This could be our lucky day. How far out is it?" Bulkhead added on.
"Calm down big guy, this could be a trap. I wouldn't put it past those delinquents to lure us in with energon," Arcee said. "Especially since the mine has been on our radar for so long, and now all of a sudden there's energon. Something seems off."
"You could be right Arcee, this could be an elaborate setup of Megatron's doing. But we still have to take a chance and see if there actually is any energon we can use there, since our reserve is at an all-time low. Bee, Arcee, Bulkhead follow me. Ratchet stay back and control the ground bridge; we will contact base if we need backup by any means. Autobots, roll out!" Optimus commanded, and the other followed his orders.
--------------------------Back at the mine
You watched as a green portal opened up, and out stepped 4 bots. The first was a yellow car, he didn't seem too bad. The next was a small motorcycle femme, finally someone who was about your height! After was a HUGE green mech who reminded you of Breakdown in a way. He seemed very intimidating to say the least. But the last one you guessed was the leader. He was a red and blue mech, with a battle mask covering his lower face plates. He looked fierce, you hoped you wouldn't have to fight him. You watched their every move, from the second they stepped out into the mine, to the moment the first vehicon struck at them.
"It's an ambush! Autobots, fall back!" the leader commanded. You guessed this was the sign to start attacking, so you jumped on into battle. From afar, you shot at the femme using a spare gun as she attacked the surrounding vehicons. When she turned around to confront where the laser beams were coming from, you ducked behind a large solid object.
One by one the vehicons were defeated. It was almost too pathetic to watch. But you knew what this meant, you had to come out of hiding and start fighting. You decided to go for the femme because she was someone your height, so maybe she would be fairly easy to fight off. You hopped down from the ledge and slid down the side of the cliff, thankfully it wasn't fully vertical. You took a deep breathe, trying to muster up all your knowledge of battle you've accumulated from throughout the years. You started to feel a lot more energized, but you didn't know if that was adrenaline or the concoction Knock Out gave you. While running towards her, you used your spare gun and kept aiming for her helm. Finally, when you were close enough, you transformed your servos into blades and started trying to slice her. Of course, it didn't go as planned, as she fought you off. In the blink of an optic, she swung a nasty right hook to your face plates, which caused you to stumble over. You threw one right back, but didn't get the same results. She went to punch you again, but you threw up your servos to protect her face. To your surprise, she grasped both of your servos and kneed you right in the tank. It hurt like the pits! You hunched over, and the femme uppercut you in the face, causing you to fall over. While on the ground, she got on top of you and started delivering punches straight to your face plates. It hurt.
"WHO ARE YOU?" she asked. Ouch, that hurt. You were able to unleash yourself from her grasp and held her into the ground.
"____, lead medic of the Decepticons. Who are you?" you stated while delivering a punch. You saw a look of confusion cross her face.
"I'm Arcee. It's weird to see another femme here, the only other was Airachnid. She was a spide-"
"Yea I know her. She's definitely a peculiar femme to say the least."
Arcee was about to throw her fist in your direction, when a loud bang was shot across the room. You both looked up and saw the yellow one lying on the ground, injured badly. You wished for a minute you weren't on the opposing team, because you would have rushed over to help. It didn't seem like they had a medic on hand right then and there. But Arcee used your curiosity to her advantage, and while you were looking at what happened she kicked you again in your tanks and pushed you off her. You just stood still for a moment, guessing that the battle was over since nobody was attacking anymore. Maybe because most of the vehicons were severely injured. A ground bridge opened not too far away from you, and in your peripheral vision you saw what was left of the vehicons running through. You started running towards it, but before you entered you turned around one last time.
On the autobot side, a ground bridge opened up and out came a new bot that wasn't there before. It was a medic, and his frame reminded you of someone you've seen before. No, he was someone you know.
"Keep moving ____, you are needed back in med-bay," somebot spoke. You quickly got out of your trance and headed back for the Nemesis.
'That couldn't have been him, right? He was fighting on that ship the last time I saw him. Same colors, same build, same profession, same faction. That had to be my sire, I just know it.'
