After a little while of digging and drilling, you and the other vehicons could drill deep to start discovering this artifact.

"Woah," you gasped in amazement. There was a slight blue aura surrounding the artifact. Whatever it was, it surely looked powerful. You knew it was necessary to return this item to base, and NOT to let the Autobots get to it first.

"Alright, let's dig this sucker outta here!"

It was DEFINITELY easier said than done; this thing was deeper within the rock than anticipated. And its weird shape didn't help either. Nonetheless, you were determined.

"Keep going, it's almost clear. Maybe if we angle the sides, then-" you were trying to instruct the vehicons, but all of a sudden, a pop echoed into your audio receptors. It was from the artifact, and it finally decided to come out.

"____, I've got it secured. Should we comm. for a ground bridge?" one of the vehicons questioned.

"Yes, comm. main control and request a ground bridge at our current coordinates. Tell them we've successfully captured whatever this item is," you very cheerfully ordered. Your first "serious" mission seemed to have gone actually well. This was very exciting for you. You had not expected it to be this easy. Luck was on your side, because there was not an autobot in sight to rain on your parade and. . .

Just as you began walking towards where you teleported from, a different bridge opened up on the other side.

'Just had to jinx myself. Are you serious?' you grudgingly thought. However, you weren't in such a bad place. Maybe, the transmission would go through fast enough and maybe the ground bridge would open up before any fighting could happen.

But that was not the case. As soon as their peds reached the ground, the two autobots came charging straight towards you and the two other vehicons. One was that femme you fought many battles ago, and the other was a yellow mech who appeared from mission to mission.

"Secure the artifact! Don't let the autobots get to it first!"

Before you had any time to react, the yellow one practically tackled you to the ground. He swung his fist and attacked your right cheek using a hook manuever. You managed to escape his grasp and jump back onto your peds. He punched you again but this time in the middle of your face plates. You swung at him too. After jabbing him a bit, you transformed your servos into your classic blades.

'Alright, just calm down and remeber anything you've learned from past experiences.' No matter how many fights you were involved in from your time here, they never got easier.

You managed to swoop him off his feet by kicking his pede, which caused him to stumble and fall. You had an advantage so far, and put it to use. Quickly, you raised up your blade and tried to stab him in his right wing plate. But, in the last second he moved out of the way, which caused you to stab the ground really hard. You tried to pull it out, but it was really stuck. He got out from under you in a speedy manner. You finally pulled your servo free from the ground, but it was no use. The yellow mech took your servo and put it behind your back, registering you in a position that gave you very limited options.

You couldn't use your other servo to swing back and try to cut or scratch him. You couldn't kick him or punch him. There was nothing you could do. So you just kept squirming around, trying to break free from his grasp. But obviously that isn't what this mech wanted you to do. So he added more pressure to your right servo. It was a back and forth battle, you trying to escape and him trying to keep you there. Until you mustered up all your strength and swung back. He tried to keep you still, but that didn't go well for you.

In the midst of this small battle, there was a very loud cracking sound. Your servo being twisted behind your back in a weird way and great amounts of pressure being added to it does not go hand unit in hand unit. Great pain shocked through your whole servo, and you didn't know why.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" you yelled out. There was a lot of whirling as he let go of your servo. You brought it up in front of you and to your absolute horror. . . it was snapped in half. It was only the upper area, right around where the hand unit is. But nonetheless, it looked terrific. The metal frame snapped, along with a few wires of sorts. Some energon was leaking out. In the background, you could hear (somewhat) apologetic whirling and buzzing from the yellow mech, but in return you didn't say anything. You just were in both shock and a bit of pain. Everything around you went a bit blurry, and all the commotion just became static. You felt like you were going to fall to the ground, but you couldn't.

Overview

As you were in utter shock, the war around you continued. A ground bridge opened, releasing out troops of vehicons soldiers. The original vehicons you were sent out with returned back to base, with the artifact secured. With the artifact being lost to the Decepticons, the two Autobots had no choice but to retreat back to base. Thankfully, two vehicons located you and guided you back to the Nemesis. They lead you to the med-bay, where you were put into stasis and immediately worked on by Knock Out. Even after the repair was over, you didn't wake up immediately. In fact, you didn't wake up until it was about 30 cycles till closing time.

The sound of beeping machines played in your audio receptor. You slowly opened your optics, trying to remember the events that occurred beforehand. The last thing you remembered was your foreservo tragically breaking on accident.

     'MY SERVO!'

As your optics adjusted to the lighting of your surroundings, you carefully looked down at your servo that was laying right besides you. There was a huge wrap across the foreservo, which was tightly placed. You, being an experienced medic, knew what happens when somebot breaks a limb. It doesn't take too long to heal back up again, but usually for a short period of time, a broken limb (or in this case servo) can render the arm to be, well not very useful. That was the LAST thing you wanted; to not be helpful. Thankfully it would only be for not too many days, but it still would make life so much harder! What in Cybertron are you going to do now?
