As you turned to go to your quarters, Soundwave followed right behind you.
"Why are you following me? Don't you have somewhere else to be?" you questioned with a more distasteful tone than you wished.
"I am just accompanying you like you asked yesterday." You were so glad it was dark because you felt your face heat up a bit. You imagined the color blue that was overtaking your face right now.
"Oh, uhm right. Yea uh, just thi-this way!" Primus, it was fumble after fumble for you. Why were you slurring your words so bad? Hopefully, he didn't notice or pay too much attention to it.
The walk there was peaceful, there were little conversations thrown in here and there. But overall, you enjoyed his presents a lot. It was nice having someone around you. It made you not feel so. . . lonely.
Before you knew it, you were at your quarters. A part of your spark felt relieved to finally be able to get some rest, but the other part of it was sad to have to leave Soundwave behind. You knew he would be fine, he's a perfectly capable mech after all. But still, it was dark and extremely late (or early in the morning).
"Hey, I know that your sector is really out of the way from here, so if you want to you could just stay over here overnight. I-I'm not trying to be weird or anything I promise! But it's late and we both have to be up very soon sooooooo I'm just trying to help out and save you a few extra cycles of precious sleep." Why on Cybertron would you say that? You were panicking over what he would say in response. You were only trying to be nice, right? He couldn't get mad at you for helping a friend out.
There was a long pause. A VERY long pause. You hoped your poker face was keeping up.
"Thank you." So, was it a yes or a no? Your question was quickly answered as he started approaching the door to your quarters. You turned the knob open and stepped inside. The place was very neat, it had a minimalistic tone to it. You hadn't had the chance to start adding decor or extra furniture yet.
"You can have the berth for tonight, I'll take the couch. You are the guest after all," you announced. "I'll be in the washroom if you need me."
As you entered the washroom, you quickly closed and locked the door behind you. You checked your I.T.S. It was only 3:36 a.m. Phew, it was going to be difficult for you to adjust to getting in so few hours of sleep.
'Do they give days off here?' you sarcastically thought to yourself before you hopped into the warm oil shower.

After you felt clean enough to go to "bed" as the organic beings say, you stepped out of your washroom and into your regular living area. As you walked past your berth, you stopped for a second.
There he was, in a deep state of recharge. He looked so calm and peaceful; it was hard to believe he was responsible for the offlining of many. You couldn't help but stare at his whole recharging frame. The way Soundwave curled up to adjust to the length of your berth. You just wanted to jump into the berth with him and be wrapped by his long, lengthy- what in the pits were you saying? No, that was just your tired processor getting the best of you, you wanted none of that. You had NO romantic interest in this mech, right?
'I'm just being a good friend by doing this! Like I said before, I mean NOTHING weird at all!" You told this to yourself as you finally headed to your couch. Finally, after getting comfortable, you pushed your circuit and drifted off.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It felt like in no time your alarm went off, and the new workday started. Besides a little spinal unit pain, the couch was kind of comfortable for you to recharge. You look on your berth to see Soundwave still asleep.
'Huh, I would've guessed he'd be up by now. If he's not up by the time I get out, I'll just have to wake him up. I need him out of here before I lock up my quarters.' You regularly did your morning routine, fixing up blemishes/scratches/signs of tiredness you had on your face plates. After you finished everything else, you started on your day. When you exited your washroom, you were disappointed a bit because he had already woken up and left your quarters. But alas, you continued forth with your onlining. Today nothing in particular was going on. It was very relaxing compared to every other day this cyber week. And before you knew it, your shift was over! You rushed over to get your nightly portion and headed for the flight deck. It was such a beautiful night, and everybot outside was talking with their friends. You decided to talk to some vehicons too, sporadically jumping in from one conversation to the other. You were, for once, actually enjoying being a member of the Nemesis. Time flew by, and before you knew it there was only 15 minutes left before you had to report back to your quarters. You decided to spend the rest of the time alone.
You were about half-way done with your cube, when somebot tapped you on your wing plate. Surprised, you jumped a bit in shock. You looked to see who it was, and it was just Soundwave.
'Oh frag, Soundwave?!'
