It has been at least a few weeks since you had to resign to "secretly" seeing Soundwave out of the public eye. At some points, it proved to be a bit of a challenge. Like during the morning. You wanted to so badly run up to him and greet him with a hug, but obviously, that would reveal a lot of things about you two, whether people assume it's friendship or more than that. Even if they don't bat an optic towards that, showing emotion is seen as weak onboard this sheep. It's for the fools and the inferior. So, to avoid any regrettable mishaps, you just avoid looking at him altogether. Which is a lot harder than it seems for you to do. Sometimes (all the time) you wish you weren't in a place where emotions are weaknesses, and relationships can easily be somebots grave. But this was the way of life now, and you were just going to have to suck it up and move on forward.

Your servo had finally healed after being broken over the course of weeks. Although it wasn't as strong as it was pre-accident, your freshly healed new servo got the job well done. But because you were fixed and ready to go, that meant a greater possibility of you being sent on small missions. And it was just your luck that today, there was a mission with your designation written ALL over it.
Before you could even process what was happening around you, you as well as a group of vehicons were casted away from the vessel onto the hard roads of Earth. Where or what city/town you were in was unbeknownst to you. But that didn't matter, what mattered was retrieving this and only this item for lord Megatron. You were cautious this time, last side quest you were sent on didn't end on such good terms. But every day is a new day to say the least, so maybe this one will end better.
Spoiler Alert: it didn't.
Everything seemed to be going steady. The vehicons weren't as incompetent this time, they helped out more than before. The item did not pose a hard challenge of retrieving. And before you knew it you were on your way back to where the ground bridge appeared last time, item stored safely away in your sub-storage compartment. The day seemed to be fine, great maybe. But alas, things are NEVER what they seem. In a matter of nano-kliks you were side-ambushed and practically driven off the road. Barely being able to transform in time, you were tackled harshly to the ground.
"Gosh I know we're enemies, but you don't gotta be so rough about it!" you attempted to crack a witty comment, but this bot wasn't very receptive of it. Instead of laughing, they punched you in the face plates.
"You don't deserve 'gentle'. Besides, it's all your fault we have to fight in the first place!" you were battling that blue femme you fought every now and then. You couldn't remember her name off the top of your helm.
"Are you saying it's my fault that this war is happening? Like I want this to happen. I mean, am I not as much to blame as you? You're fighting right now, no?" You were betting on the fact that this phrase would stump her for a second, giving you a quick window to escape. It did, and you shoved the center of your hand unit to her face as fast as you could, pushing her away in the process.
Without turning around, you looked to see where the group of vehicons were. And, to nobots surprise, they were being beaten by the big green bulky Autobot. There was no point in joining in as well, because what major help were you going to be. Instead, the smartest option would be to retreat back while you could, so that's what you did. You gathered up all the vehicons and started gunning it for where the ground bridge should appear. The autobots were not very far behind and coming closer every second. In the midst of all the chaos, you slyly slipped a random vehicon the artifact that you had stored.
"The Autobots will think that I'm the one holding onto it, so they'll try and go after me first. As long as you, in specific, get through the bridge than all this fighting won't be for naught. Try to be in front, I'll draw back and slow down. Got it?" The vehicon nodded its helm in return.
"Got it."
The plan worked just like you hoped. By slowing down, you were targeted first, giving the others a better chance at escaping. The ground bridge opened, and the first one went through, unfortunately some in the back couldn't say the same. But, as long as number 1 safely boarded the ship, then the task at hand would be considered "successful".
"Yes!" you whispered happily to yourself. You were down on the ground with a stasis cuff on you by the end of the fiasco.
"What did you say?" the blue one asked suspiciously.
"I coughed."
"Yea right. Why do you all have to lie about everything? It's like your whole creation is one giant lie. I should just end it right now for you," the blue one spoke with a tone full of venom and hatred as she loaded up her blasters. You got scared that she was going to offline you for real.
But luckily, the green one stopped her in time before she could do anything. "Arcee, relax and put down your blaster. Don't be like the Decepticons and offline them while their helpless. Besides, you can't offline her. Any captured bots were to be taken back to base, Prime's order."
"Your right Bulkhead," she spoke as she switched her blasters to her servos. After putting up a digit to her audio receptors she asked whoever was on the other line to "Send a ground bridge to their coordinates."
It finally struck you now. You were going to be taken a hostage and interrogated for any information you had. You were going to be locked in a cell or strapped down to a table until you gave them what they wanted. It was going to be like how it is in those picture-videos that they showed on the Earth television. You are yet to watch one fully, but you understood the basic premises: Someone gets taken away, thrown in a place behind bars, forced to wear an orange covering item, and never gets the chance to see daylight again!
'Orange isn't even my color! Just great. Is this the last memory I'll have of Earth? Having my face plate touching the cold dirt beneath me? Was this morning the last time I'll ever see anybot again? And is this the last rays of sun I get before I'm forced to spend the rest of eternity in darkness!? This can't be! Just when my creation was looking promising, I mean c'mon Primus what did I do to deserve this torture?!'
You tried to resist being dragged into the portal, but unfortunately your efforts were futile to say the least. The big green one, Bulkhead you recall his name was, just picked you up and carried you through the portal.
'Geez you wanna throw me over your shoulder like I'm a bag of trash while you're at it? Being gentle won't hurt ya,' you thought to yourself. Although you were joking now, deep down you were horrified at what laid beyond the portal. Was it your demise? Who would know? You kept your optics tightly shut until you arrived at the other side of the portal. And only Primus knows what awaits you there.
