Over the past few weeks, Ivy was meeting Marjorie for coffee every Wednesday afternoon and stayed over Marjorie and Reece's house every so often.

Marjorie was sat by herself in the staff room eating her lunch and drinking the coffee Reece had bought her as usual, she was surprised by Ivy walking into the room.

"Hey mum." Ivy smiled.

"You alright my darling?" Marjorie smiled back.

"Yeah, my mums gone out for the day so I thought I'd come and see you."

"How's your mum been lately, you haven't mentioned her much?"

"She's not changed, I don't mention her because I forget about her when I'm around you."

The two shared a moment of silence until Ivy broke the silence.

"Why did you give me up?" She asked.

Marjorie looked up from her phone, she froze as she felt her heart sank "I had no choice sweetheart"

"Can you tell me what happened?" Ivy asked out of curiosity.

"Id just turned 21, my mum didn't think I was ready to have a baby, she forced me to give you up, I Never forgave myself.

"Your mum sounds horrible." Ivy added.

"She was, I haven't seen her for years though, I couldn't even look at her after all she put me through." Marjorie laughed

Ivy looked at Marjorie "do you remember me as a baby?"

"Of course i do, you were so perfect, but to be honest, I'm so proud of the young lady you've grown into."

"Aw" Ivy smiled "also?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever think about.. uh"

"What is it my darling?" Marjorie laughed.

"Have you ever thought about having any more kids?" Ivy said shyly.

Marjorie's smile dropped. "I mean yeah, me and Reece have spoken about it, but I just don't think we're ready for that right now." She lied, knowing full well that she was pregnant, however she hadn't yet had the courage to tell anybody.

"You'd make a great mum." Ivy smiled as her phone rang. She answered. "Yes mum?"

-

"Fine, okay bye." Ivy hung up.

"What was that?" Marjorie questioned.

"I've got to be home like, right now."

Marjorie looked concerned "come on then, I'll drive you quickly."

Marjorie got Ivy home in time, even if it meant running a few red lights, she pulled up outside of the house and noticed Mrs Rhodes stood at the door. She then made her way over toward the car.

"Ivy, inside now." She demanded. Ivy got out of the car and walked into the house. "Mrs knight you and I, need to talk."

"Very well." Marjorie smirked.

"Do you ever listen? I told you to stay away from Ivy. She is my daughter." She snapped

"Mhm, maybe tell your daughter to stay away from me" she shrugged "I haven't done anything."

"You don't get to see my daughter unless I say so, and right now.. I don't say so." She said aggressively.

"And why is that?" Marjorie asked.

"Because you're not her mother. I am, and there's absolutely nothing stopping me from getting a restraining order after all you've done. Do you understand Mrs knight?" She asked.
