Marjorie made her way to the hospital, once she'd arrived she rushed to Ivy's hospital room and realised Clara was already there.

"Mrs knight." Clara said dryly. "Get out."

Marjorie looked at Clara. "No."

"She's my daughter, what are you doing here. Ivy isn't your daughter." Clara snapped.

Marjorie rolled her eyes. "She is my daughter, all you do is bring her down, make her sad. You're a terrible mother."

Clara scoffed. "Even if I am a 'terrible mother' I'm still Ivy's mother. So you need to back off, right now Mrs knight."

Ivy was sat up in her bed. "Could you two just stop fighting please!!"

The room went silent.

Clara took a deep breath. "You're being discharged from hospital tomorrow morning, and you're coming home with me."

"On one condition." Ivy began.

"What?" Clara snapped.

"You two stop fighting and you need to let me see Marjorie. She's my mum too." Ivy begged.

"I'll let you see her. Once a week." Clara smirked.

"But mum.." Ivy was interrupted.

"Don't argue with your mum Ivy, at least you're still allowed to see me." Marjorie smiled.

"At least we agree on something for once." Clara rolled her eyes.

"So that's it then. No more fighting?" Marjorie asked.

Clara hesitated before speaking. "I.. suppose I have no choice."

"Finally." Ivy let out a sigh of relief.

The following day was Christmas Eve, Ivy left the hospital and went home with Clara, Marjorie spent the day at home with Reece and the baby.

Reece and Marjorie were in the kitchen, Reece was baking gingerbread cookies, Marjorie admired him as he baked, until they heard a loud cry from upstairs.

"I'll go and get her, keep an eye on the oven." Reece smiled as he went upstairs.

He scooped up Serena and cradled her in his arms, she wouldn't stop crying. He gently rocked her. "Shh, let's go and find mummy shall we?" He spoke softly.

He carried his little girl down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. "There she is!!" Reece smiled pointing at Marjorie.

Marjorie's face lit up when she saw Reece interacting with Serena. She held her arms out and Reece passed the baby over.

"Hello sweetheart!" Marjorie giggled, Serena stopped crying almost instantly, the sound of Marjorie's voice comforted her. "I think someone's hungry aren't they." She smiled.

Reece handed Marjorie a bottle for Serena and watched as she fed the baby, Marjorie caught him looking at her. "What are you looking at Reece."

"You." He smiled leaning over the baby to plant a soft kiss on Marjorie's lips. "Cookies are ready by the way." He said as he pulled the tray from the oven.

Later that day, Ivy came over to meet the baby, exchange gifts and have dinner with Marjorie and Reece.

Marjorie was sat in the living room cradling Serena while Reece was preparing dinner when there was a knock on the door.

"Reece!! Get the door please!" Marjorie yelled.

Reece opened the door and saw Ivy, she was holding three presents.
