Marjorie and Reece had a hospital appointment at 11 am, the plan was to head straight to work afterwards. Only if everything was okay, which it was.

In the car, on the way back from the hospital, Reece noticed a worried look on Marjorie's face. "You okay gorgeous?" He asked.

"Yeah, just trying to process all of that information we've just been given." She giggled.

"As long as you're okay, I can't believe we're 7 weeks though"

"I know!! I think the next appointment is at ten weeks- actually I need to double check." Marjorie sat reading the sheets they had been given from the hospital, confirming the next appointment.

"You sure you're okay to go into work?" Reece asked, sounding rather concerned.

"Yeah, it's already half twelve and I'm on the early, today's a breeze." She smiled. Her phone started ringing, it was an unknown number, however she still answered.

"Hello?"

"Mrs knight, how are you?"

Marjorie paused for a moment before realising. It was Clara, Ivy's mum.

"Fine. What can I do for you?" She said as she rolled her eyes.

"I heard about your little.. meet up with my daughter yesterday."

"Right?"

"Mrs knight, I don't think you're following." Clara chuckled. "This is becoming an issue."

"Enlighten me, what's the issue?"

Clara took a deep breath "first of all, Ivy is grounded. I've blocked your number on her phone, I've also blocked the nursery's number, she's not allowed out of the house and she is being escorted to and from school by me, under no circumstances are you to speak to her, look at her, meet up with her, text or call her. If you do, trust me.. there's going to be trouble."

Marjorie took a deep breath. "Is that a threat?"

"Yes it is, I've also warned Ivy, if I am to hear that you two have been spending time together once more, she will be off to boarding school. Good day, Mrs knight." Clara hung up.

Marjorie scoffed while also trying not to cry.

"What's her deal?" Reece laughed.

"I don't know, I seriously need to stay away from Ivy though- I've no idea what that woman's capable of."

Reece looked Marjorie up and down. "Don't tell me you're gonna actually listen to her?"

"Reece- Ivy isn't my child. If her mum doesn't want us to speak to each other, then we need to listen, plus- I've literally just been threatened and I can't risk anything, I'm pregnant, we need to be careful." She sounded concerned.

"To be honest, I'm proud of you.. you're doing the right thing. Are you okay though?" He placed his hand on her stomach.

Marjorie placed her hand on top of Reece's before speaking. "Not really."

Reece stopped the car since they had arrived at the nursery, he turned to face Marjorie. "You'll be okay, we have bigger and better things to look forward to."

Marjorie smiled "I know darling, I know." She sighed. "Let's go inside then, I'm sure there's plenty of work waiting for me." She rolled her eyes.

Reece got out of the car and walked over to Marjorie's side, opening the door for her and taking her hand. Once they were in the building Reece was expected to cover for Carly in the toddler room and give char a hand. Marjorie walked Reece to the room, char was already there.

"Hey Marjorie!" Charlotte said excitedly.

"You alright my love?" Marjorie asked and char nodded. "Reece, I'll see you later darling." She smiled.

Reece frowned "before you go." He pulled her back into the room. And gave her a kiss, rather than his hand resting on her waist as it normally does, he placed it on her stomach and gave it a gentle rub. Charlotte noticed.

"Not in front of the kids Reece." She said jokingly, with one hand on her stomach which she quickly moved once she realised what she was doing.

"Bye gorgeous." Reece smiled.
