A week had passed, although Marjorie was still struggling to accept the fact that she may never see her daughter again, Reece somehow kept her mind at ease, distracting her and reminding her of her worth. She thought it was sweet, and to some extent.. it worked.

On the other hand, Ivy had it harder, Clara was more evil than ever.. and what she was about to do was outrageous.

Ivy was getting ready to leave for school that Thursday morning, Clara walked in and had quite a serious expression on her face. "Ivy, dear?" She cleared her throat.

"Yes mum?" Ivy turned around.

"Do me a favour." Clara demanded.

"What is it?" Ivy asked.

"You can go and see Marjorie this afternoon.." Clara smirked.

"Omg!! Really? Thank you!!" She squealed.

"Ah, ah, ah. Not so fast." Clara tutted. "You need to break her heart."

Ivy looked hurt "why?"

"You can take this back to her." Clara pulled out the blue Tiffany box from her pocket, which had the necklace Marjorie had given Ivy inside. "You can tell her you don't want it. You will do as I say young lady."

"Or what?" Ivy challenged.

"I'll hurt the people you love." Clara chuckled.

Ivy swallowed. She thought of Marjorie, the baby and reece, even Carly who'd she'd become good friends with. "What else do you need me to do?" She asked, she was terrified.

"Listen closely.. give her the necklace, tell her you don't want it. Tell her that she's a terrible human being. You can also tell her that you don't love her, in fact, tell her you hate her, tell her you never want to see her again." Clara had a wicked look on her face, she knew what she was doing was wrong, but she had to do it if she wanted ivy all to herself.

Ivy took a deep breath and took the necklace from her mother's hands. "Got it." She practically whispered, holding tears back. She left the room, put her shoes on and left the house.

While walking to the nursery, she was shaking, she was awfully worried, she felt a sense of hatred towards her mother, of course she had always hated her mother but this time, it was different.

She entered the doors of the knight nursery and was greeted by Agatha, at reception.

"Ivy is it? I assume you're here to see Marjorie." Agatha smiled.

"Yes."

"Very well, you know where to find her." Agatha said, gesturing toward the door.

Ivy was dreading it.

She walked into Marjorie's office and saw Marjorie's face light up.

"Ivy!? What are you doing here, I thought you were at school?" Marjorie smiled. "I missed you." Marjorie moved toward Ivy and held her arms out for a hug.

Ivy shook her head. She pulled out the box from behind her back. "Have this.. I don't want it." Ivy snapped.

"Why? You love this necklace, are you alright?" Marjorie said as she took the box.

"I don't want it!!" Ivy shouted.

"You went insane when it went missing a few weeks ago- I.. what's the matter sweetheart?" Marjorie looked concerned, oblivious to the fact that her heart was about to be shattered into a million pieces.

"I don't love you." Ivy snapped, the guilt already eating her up.

"My darling.." Marjorie was confused.

Ivy interrupted. "You're a terrible human being. I don't love you anymore!! In fact.. I hate you." She spat.

"Ivy.. what's gotten into you?" Marjorie questioned, she was now crying.

"I never want to see you, ever again. You don't understand how much I hate you. Don't speak to me." Ivy turned on her heel and as she walked out of the office she burst into tears. She held it in until she was out of the building, once she was outside she wasn't just crying.

She was screaming.

Marjorie, who was heartbroken, she sank into her chair, she was devastated, her heart shattered, it had been crushed, not just by anybody but by her own daughter. She was in low spirits, she sobbed until her throat began to bleed. It caused her to question whether she would be a good mother to the baby growing inside of her. She continued to shed tears until Reece walked in.

He saw the state of her and rushed over, he kneeled on the floor and tried to comfort her.

"Hey, hey.. what's up?" He asked.

Marjorie could barely get her words out. "Ivy, doesn't love me, she hates me." She choked.

"Gorgeous, we need to get you home, explain later." Reece began to stress. He helped her up and drove her home.

In the car, Marjorie continued to cry, she couldn't stop the tears from falling. It pained Reece to see her in that sorry state.

She pushed a few words out. "Reece, I'll explain, please stop worrying." She continued to cry.

"No, gorgeous." He placed a hand on her thigh "we can wait until we're home and you're calm so we can maybe sort this out." He sighed.

"You- you can't fix this Reece." She stuttered.

Clara's plan had gone exactly how she imagined it to, would Marjorie's pain worsen? Or Would Ivy's anger cause her to seek revenge on Clara? God knows what would happen to them both, this was only the beginning....
