It had roughly been about four weeks since Ivy had been poisoned and admitted to hospital. Marjorie visited her every single day after work, however, Ivy hadn't yet woken up.

Marjorie was getting ready for the day, she was working the early shift so she had enough time to get to the hospital.

She was wearing black heels, tights, a black skirt with a navy blue fitted shirt that complimented her bump perfectly as she was now 17 weeks pregnant. She stared at herself in the mirror and let out a sigh. She felt two arms snake their way around her waist and realised it was Reece..

"You look perfect." He smiled as he held her.

"You sure?" She said as she turned around to face him.

"I'm One hundred and ten percent sure." His smile widened as he placed a hand on her bump.

There was a kick.

"Gorgeous?" He said. "Did you feel that?" He asked.

"Yes!! Yes I did." She smiled placing her hand over his.

"Is our hospital appointment tomorrow??" Reece asked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the gender scan." She said nervously.

"Are you worried?" He asked her.

"No, as long as he or she is healthy, i honestly don't care." She smiled.

"Good." Reece laughed as he pulled her in for a passionate kiss.

Most mornings, Marjorie would often stare at her reflection for a good five or ten minutes, she struggled to adapt to the changes her body was going through during pregnancy, but Reece reminded her that she looked perfect 24/7.

As soon as Marjorie arrived at work, she was in and out of the office, going to the bathroom every few minutes, the sickness hadn't stopped, it seemed to be worse each day.

"Are you alright Marjorie?" Autumn asked sounding concerned.

"Yeah, just- don't worry, it's nothing." She smiled.

"It's clearly not nothing.. are you still struggling with morning sickness?" Autumn questioned.

"Yeah- I can't keep anything down, but I can't really do much about it." She giggled.

"It's rough." Autumn nodded. "You look really nice today though." She smiled.

"Thank you." Marjorie smiled, yet again gagging.

Three or so hours later, it was time for Marjorie to visit Ivy at the hospital, she said her goodbyes to the staff and set off, surely Ivy would wake up
Soon. At least, she hoped so.

The receptionist looked up at Marjorie. "Ivy Rhodes, room 79, floor 2." She smiled.

"Thank you." Marjorie nodded and made her way to Ivy's hospital room.

She opened the door, to only find Ivy with her eyes closed, even though Ivy was asleep, Marjorie still sat next to her, talking and rambling on about everything going on in her life, hoping she'd be able to hear her. She'd also often read books to Ivy, today she was reading: it ends with us, by Colleen hoover.

"It stops here. With me and you. It ends with us." She read as she closed the book and smiled, pushing a few stray hairs out of Ivy's face.
"We find out the gender of the baby tomorrow my love, I already know if it's a little girl that she'll be a spitting image of you." She grinned.

Ivy's eyes fluttered open. She sat up almost immediately. "Mum??" She looked a little confused.

"Yes sweetheart, it's me." Marjorie felt tears roll down her cheeks.
