It had been a week since Marjorie and Ivy last spoke, Ivy had been forced to go no-contact with Marjorie, however, Marjorie on the other hand, had been a little preoccupied with everything going on, she was 13 weeks pregnant and had a nursery to run.

Autumn and winter were also made aware of the pregnancy, their reactions were questionable yet they were both ecstatic about having a little niece or nephew. All of the other staff began to notice Marjorie's actions, she'd been very much behind the scenes, not turning up to staff meetings or attending team building sessions, most days she was late to work or even had a few days off. They also noticed her change in dress sense.

It was a late Monday afternoon, around 6pm to be exact, Marjorie had spent her whole weekend worrying about Ivy, she just couldn't stop, all of the 'what ifs?' Filled her head.

What if she doesn't want to see me anymore?

What if she's unhappy?

What if Clara is being horrible to her?

What if she's hates me?

What if she feels unsafe?

And then the phone rang.

Marjorie picked up.

"Hello, the knight nursery?" She said, as usual.

"Mum?"

"Ivy." Marjorie smiled for the first time in weeks.

"I'm sorry, I'm coming to your nursery. We need to talk, now." Ivy demanded.

"Alright, see you in a minute my love."

Within minutes there was an enthusiastic knock at the door.

Marjorie looked up from her computer and basically ran toward Ivy.

"My darling!!" She called out.

Ivy wrapped her arms around Marjorie and buried her head into her chest, they both stood there, holding each other until Ivy pulled away.

"right, take a seat. You said you needed to talk to me?" Marjorie sounded worried.

"Yeah." Ivy said taking a seat "by the way, that outfit is stunning!" She giggled.

The two took a deep breath.

"My mum threatened me." Ivy sighed.

"She what!?" Marjorie choked on her words.

"She told me, if I were to go anywhere near you, then you'd be in great danger. I couldn't take the risk, you're pregnant."

"No, she is so wrong for that. You don't have to worry about me though my sweet." She said wiping the tears from Ivy's cheeks.

"There's more though." Ivy began.

"Go ahead.."

"She's got my phone, she's basically taken everything away from me. I had to use my friend's phone to call you earlier and I'm only here because she's in London for a few hours." Ivy stuttered.

"I'm so sorry that she's doing this to you honey." Marjorie thought for a second "we need to do something about this."

"Yeah well she feeds me a load of lies too, she tells me all about you and this 'villain era' a few years back. She seriously thinks that's gonna change my opinions on you."

Clara walked into the office.

"Dear oh dear.. I thought I'd find you two in here." Clara started. "So Marjorie, what's it gonna be? You gonna tell her the truth?"

"I was going to, before you interrupted." Marjorie spoke sternly "Ivy, my darling, that wasn't a lie." Marjorie's voice was breaking.

Ivy wrapped her arms around Marjorie, sobbing "I don't care, I really don't. That was a few years ago. I know you're nothing like that now, please just don't make me go with her." Ivy begged.

"Well- this is.. touching.. so, Ivy are we going home?" Clara asked.

"No!!" Ivy screamed.

Marjorie sighed "Clara I thought you were in London?"

"You two are such fools! Of course I wasn't. I told you I'd be in London because I knew that I'd be able to catch you two here. Let's call it.. a trap." Clara chuckled.

"You're pure evil. I hope you know that, look what you've done." Marjorie said while holding ivy.

"I don't care, Mrs knight. She is my daughter. Ivy will do as I say. And so will you. Come along Ivy." Clara demanded.

"Bye." Ivy cried as she followed Clara out of the room.

Marjorie mouthed 'I will find you' to Ivy as she left.
