Marjorie and Reece had done quite well when it came to hiding the pregnancy, however, they weren't going to be able to hide it for much longer. Marjorie's symptoms were becoming more obvious, she was having days off of work and soon she'd start to show. The couple hadn't really discussed when they wanted to start telling people until Reece mentioned it in the car on the way to work.

"Marjorie." He started.

"Yeah?" She smiled.

"When are you going to start telling people?" He asked.

"Whenever you're ready my darling." She looked at him and placed a hand on his thigh as he was driving.

"It doesn't matter if I'm ready or not, it's up to you, how many weeks are we today?"

"Eleven." She smiled placing a hand over her stomach.

Marjorie was wearing one of Reece's hoodies, she knew she wasn't showing just yet, but she didn't really care. She felt more comfortable hiding her growing bump under baggy clothes until she was ready to tell people.

Once Marjorie and Reece arrived at the nursery, Reece headed to his office, and Marjorie made her way to her office.

Marjorie sat down, unpacked her bag and opened her laptop, Charlotte walked in.

"Hey Marjorie." She smiled.

"You alright my love?"

Charlotte looked down at Marjorie's desk noticing a pack of mints and a tub of peppermint gum. "Mints and gum? Are you alright Marjorie.. you hate mints and I don't think in my ten years of working at this nursery, I've ever seen you chewing gum. Not once." Charlotte giggled, deep down she knew Marjorie was hiding something.

"Yeah, I actually don't like mints and I hate gum." She smirked playing with her 'R' necklace.

"So why have.." Charlotte started.

Marjorie interrupted Charlotte "heartburn, it's really bad at the minute." She giggled.

"I see- what's that smell.. are you wearing Reece's aftershave!??." Charlotte asked.

"No!! Don't be daft, it smells like him, it's his hoodie." Marjorie frowned. "Prefer me to take it off!?"

"Whatever, I've got these reports for you and.."
Charlotte placed the folder on Marjorie's desk and then looked up, realising Marjorie had taken the hoodie off so she was now wearing her usual black and white striped top+skirt combination.

"What?" Marjorie snapped.

"Nothing." Charlotte looked down, Marjorie's bag was open on the floor, and she noticed that there were anti sickness pills in there. "Marjorie why have you got anti sickness pills?" She smirked.

"For gods sake Charlotte!! You've probably guessed already!!." She giggled "I'm pregnant." She smiled.

"What."

"Do I need to repeat myself?" Marjorie laughed.

"No, and you're right I did guess." She smiled "I'm so happy for you Marjorie!!"

"Thank you my love." She smiled.

"How many weeks are you?" Charlotte questioned.

"Eleven." Marjorie said while putting the hoodie back on.

"Gosh, I take it nobody else knows, that's why you're wearing the hoodie?" She asked.

"Mhm." She nodded.

"This is honestly the best news!! I should really get back to work though." Charlotte smiled.

"Wait- you're in the toddler room, I'll walk you down there I think Reece is in there covering today."

The two walked down the corridor toward the toddler room, Marjorie expected Reece to be there. He wasn't, Carly was in there instead.

Marjorie leaned against the doorframe "Carly, where's Reece?" She asked.

Carly looked up "he sent me in here, I think he was supposed to be in here, but he's in his office I think."

"Ahh okay.." Marjorie was cut off by one of the toddlers throwing a toy car at her, it hit her right in the stomach. "Ouch!!" Marjorie cried holding a hand over her stomach.

"Milo!! Careful!!" Charlotte went running over to Marjorie. "Are you okay Marjorie? The baby!"

"Yeah, I'm alright, it didn't hit hard I'll be fine." She said, brushing it off.

Carly walked over. "Did I hear that right? Baby?" She frowned "care to explain someone?"

Marjorie took a deep breath. "I'm pregnant."

"Oh. My. Gosh!!! This is great!! Wait you just got a car chucked at you though- wait are you alright Marjorie?"

"Yes my love, I'm okay." She giggled. "You two have got work to be getting on with, and so have I, I'll see you later." Marjorie left the room, she smiled to herself as she felt much better knowing that she'd told people about the pregnancy.

Around lunch time, Reece walked into Marjorie's office. He had bought her a decaf coffee. "Hey gorgeous." He smiled as he took a seat next to Marjorie.

She took the coffee "hello you." She smiled.

"I heard about what happened in the toddler room earlier, are you okay?" Marjorie sensed the concern in his voice.

"Yeah, honestly I'm fine. Carly and char know though.."

"Okay, it's fine, as long as you're okay."
