Moving on.

It was Ivy's second week of college, she absolutely hated it, she hated being away from the people she loved and she hated being forced to study something she truly hated.

It was a Saturday evening, Ivy sat in her dorm and she began to write a letter.

Marjorie,

I've been told not to speak to you, but I need to let you know, I'm going away, I won't be back for a little while, I can't say how long I'll be gone for because truthfully, I don't know where I'm even going myself. Incase I never get to tell you again, I love you. Everything I was afraid of happening, happened. I wish you the best of luck in the future, I'll miss you ever so much. I guess our story ends here.

Until we meet again, in this life or the next.

Yours truly, Ivy.

She sobbed as she folded it into an envelope, she packed her suitcase and headed for the train station. She had a few ideas in mind, maybe London? Or perhaps another country, she wanted to start fresh, a clean slate, she needed it.

____________

Marjorie became cold and heartless, her personality concealed how broken she was over ivy, she never really got a chance to say goodbye, but she hoped Ivy was in a better place now, maybe she was happier and she was safe.

Marjorie arrived home from work and found the letter from Ivy in the post box, she immediately opened it and read it.

She sank into the sofa and allowed tears to fall, maybe that was it.. maybe she'd never see ivy again. That couldn't be it, surely she'd come back once more?

Part of Marjorie was glad that Ivy had left, she was away from that bitch of a mother.

She stood up, she lit the fireplace and screwed the letter up. She placed it in the fire and watched it burn.

Marjorie figured, she needed to move on, there was obviously a reason she gave Ivy up all of those years ago, they weren't meant to be.

She wished her and Ivy never met, ever since they had met, life just became chaotic, Clara threatening Marjorie, the poisonous apple pie, all of the fallouts, maybe it was just best if they went their separate ways.

It's hard to forget someone, in fact, it's painful to forget someone who meant so much to you, it hurts to forget, amongst all the other incidents, the good memories.

Marjorie wasn't even thinking about herself at this point, she thought of Ivy, so much pain for someone so young..

______________

Exactly one month later..

Marjorie was healing, her smile was back, she stared to wear colour again, her bubbly personality was back, and hopefully here to stay.

Ivy had left the country, in a month she'd already achieved so much, as much as it pained them both to move on and forget. Ivy was renting an apartment in Paris, she spent her days sightseeing, making friends. She even had a job in one of the Local French bakeries.

Marjorie was about twenty-five weeks pregnant, her and Reece spent most of their time making as many memories as they could before their little girl arrived.

Both Marjorie and Ivy realised that there was a pattern,

Everyone was happy, and everything ran smoothly, until something tragic occurred.

(A/N: what do we think should happen next? Leave suggestions in the comments because I'm lowkey kinda stuck.)
