Ending the Contract: Part 1 - Little Extravaganza

It was an early Wednesday morning, and the group of actors were all together attending a pre-Golden Globes lunch. Cillian and Ryan were part of the two biggest movies of the year, so they were in the spotlight of the event. Lizzie, Brie and Pedro were nominated for the series they starred in, so the pressure and expectations for their wins were beyond high.

Lizzie and Brie were going against each other in the same category. You would expect them to keep their distance based on the circumstances regarding their presence at the event, but the sisterly duo was closer than ever, keeping an eye on each other at all times.

A happy coincidence struck the actors and fellow littles when they all got seated together, but they were surprised to see the people assigned to the two empty chairs left at their table.

Chris arrived first. He didn't have any projects nominated for any of the award ceremonies, but thanks to his status in the industry and his membership in the different acting' unions, it wasn't that big of a shock seeing him at the lunch. But as soon as he was reunited with his fellow little siblings and friends, it was as if no time had passed since they were all together enjoying one of many Mama/Babies Days. Now, when Y/N made her appearance, the littles were not only shocked and confused, but also extremely happy to see their Mama again.

"Well, I guess this must be my seat", Y/N said softly, gaining the attention of everyone at the table.

"Y/N!", they all cheered in unison before everyone stood up to share big and warm hugs with her.

"Hello, my beautiful babies. It's so good to see you. My big boys, Cilly and Ryry, Pedrito mi corazón, my Brie Bear and my little Princess Lizzie", Y/N greeted every single one of her babies with tight hugs and many kisses, making them giggle at her funny yet sweet embrace. "Ducky? What are you doing here?", Y/N asked genuinely surprised once she spotted Chris waiting patiently for his turn to greet her.

"Hi Y/N. I got an invite from the union, and since I had a small break from the latest 'A Starting Point' campaign, I decided to come and relax with my friends for a bit", Chris explained to Y/N as she immediately smiled softly at him.

"That's awesome. I'm happy you got to relax for a bit and that I got to see you today", Y/N told Chris sweetly while hugging him tightly. He reciprocated the embrace with the same level of love and appreciation before they pulled away and went to take their seats at the table.

"Come sit next to me, Y/N", Lizzie told Y/N while dragging her over to the two empty chairs left. Y/N chuckled at Lizzie's adorable antics before sitting down in between her and Brie.

"So, it's not that we're not happy to see you, Y/N, but how come you're here?", Ryan asked carefully, earning a short chuckle from Y/N.

"Well, it's no secret that during events like this is where I network and meet all my babies", Y/N started as everyone shared a small laugh thanks to her true words. "But to answer your question, Ryry, I was one of the producers for 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning', so everyone from the movie's production got invited to this lunch and the awards", Y/N finished explaining to her babies as all of them nodded in understanding. "What I'm still confused about is why did I get seated here and not with the executives of my movie?", Y/N questioned genuinely curious as everyone hummed in thought about her words.

"Maybe the person who did the seating chart is one of our little siblings?", Pedro suggested, causing Y/N to nod her head in agreement.

"That's a pretty good guess, mi corazón. I'll make sure to look into that with my assistant. She's the one who confirmed my attendance today", Y/N told Pedro, making him smile big after his caregiver's praise. "Anyway, I couldn't believe they put me with you guys, but here we are, and I'm so glad to be reunited with my babies", Y/N shared with the table as she wrapped her arms around her baby girls. Brie and Lizzie easily accepted their Mama's embrace and nuzzled further into her chest as Y/N left soft kisses over their heads. "So, how have you guys been? Aren't you all excited for your nominations?"
