Ending the Contract: Part 2 - Little Extravaganza

It had been a week since the unpleasant argument with Y/N, and from the moment she stormed off the pre-awards lunch, nobody had heard from her or encountered her at all. Everyone felt pretty guilty about their reaction thanks to Y/N's news and the decision they made as a group to stop having her as their caregiver.

At the moment, it seemed like a good idea, but after seeing how heartbroken and betrayed Y/N looked thanks to her babies pushing her away really took a toll on all of them. The following days were full of sleepless nights, involuntary slipping into littlespace from the actors during their adult jobs, and whiny and grumpy littles on each of their households, with zero caregivers to look after them.

They were lucky they got out of their headspaces on time before any of their partners found them that vulnerable, defenseless and exposed. They certainly didn't need the stress of explaining their coping mechanism, hoping that their family and friends would be accepting of it, on top of all the awards season chaos. That's why they decided to meet over at one of their houses to talk, Chris's beach house in Santa Monica being the perfect option.

"Here you guys go. Pancakes, eggs and toast. There is a pitcher with apple juice, another one with orange juice, and the coffee pot has freshly brewed coffee. Just be careful with it, it's still hot", Alba explained to everyone seated around the dining table before she sat down next to Chris so they could all enjoy the delicious breakfast she prepared.

"Thank you, baby. This looks so good", Chris told Alba before they shared a soft kiss.

"Yeah, Alba. Everything looks delicious, and I bet it will taste even better", Ryan told Alba, earning a tender smile from her. "I also wanted to thank you for letting us stay in your and Chris's home until we all get out of the...funk we've been on during these past few days"

"Oh, you don't have to thank me, guys. It is my pleasure to host our friends, and also look after my baby boy's little friends. I know he enjoys having you here", Alba told the group of adults before looking back at Chris, who was sporting a slight blush over his cheeks thanks to his mommy/partner calling him by his little self's nickname.

After the short conversation, everyone started eating in silence, or so it seemed. Cillian and Ryan were munching on some eggs and kept pouring themselves multiple glasses of orange juice, but didn't finish any of them. Pedro was solely drinking coffee, or more like slurping, totally making a mess of his face and his shirt.

Brie was the most normal out of the five guests; she had a couple of pancakes on her plate along with some avocado toast she prepared for herself, with the eggs that Alba had cooked on top. She was occasionally taking sips from her glass of apple juice as well. She did miss how her Mama would cut up her pancakes in triangular shapes, like you would cut a pizza, and she also missed drinking her appol jooz inside her Doc McStuffins sippy. But at least she was coping with her new reality fairly well; Lizzie, on the other hand, was a completely different story.

Once Y/N left the lunch, Lizzie's mind inevitably regressed. No matter how much she had tried to stay big, the sadness she felt after watching her Mama leave, was enough to make her slip into a very young headspace and heartbroken tears started to spill from her big, bright jade orbs. Thankfully, Brie was there to console her, and as the best big sister to little Lizzie, she had Lizzie over at her house and looked after her regressed self, even after they joined all their little siblings over at Chris's house.

"Lizzie Bug, why aren't you eating? Don't you like pancakes?", Brie asked Lizzie softly, but she only huffed and kept playing with her food.

"I don' wan' to eat dis", Lizzie mumbled in a whiny tone before huffing again.
