"Coming!", Y/N called out while she walked to the front door of her apartment. Once she opened the door, a big smile graced her face at the sight of her little. "Hi Rebbie. Come on in!"
"Thank you, love", Rebecca replied to the greeting before entering the apartment and sharing a cheek kiss and a side hug with her caregiver. Y/N closed the door behind them and signaled for Rebecca to follow her inside the living room.
"So, are you ready to spend all day with me?", Y/N asked excited while they both settled on the couch.
"Yeah, I'm super excited and thankful that you were able to do this. It's been a couple of tough weeks, filming all the time, two projects at once, and I just...I really need this", Rebecca shared with Y/N honestly, which made her heart clench thanks to her baby's exhausted state.
"Don't mention it, sweetheart. I'm more than happy to look after my little baby, and I'll try to help you relax as much as I can, so that you can actually rest but still have some fun, because you deserve it", Y/N told Rebecca softly while she engulfed her on a loving hug. Rebecca accepted the embrace before cuddling further into Y/N's chest. She hummed contently and sighed deeply, her body relaxing at the safety and tranquility she felt while being wrapped by her Mama's arms.
They stayed this way for a couple of minutes. Y/N would momentarily hum a soft melody while she rocked them left and right. Neither of them spoke a single word, the atmosphere was too perfect to ruin it by uttering any sounds. When Rebecca moved her hand upwards and started to suck on her thumb, Y/N knew her baby girl had finally slipped, and it seemed she had regressed very little.
"Well, hello there, my little toad. Are you excited to have a fun day with your Mama?", Y/N asked happily as Rebecca looked up at her with her big and wide sparkly blue eyes. Y/N tickled her tummy, causing for her baby to giggle adorably before nodding her head in response to her Mama's previous question, her arm moving along with it as she was still sucking on her thumb. "Maybe we can start by exchanging that yucky thumb with one of your favorite dummies, huh?", Y/N said while she reached for a pacifier inside the diaper bag dressed as Rebecca's purse. She skillfully exchanged Rebecca's thumb for the frog theme soother before Rebecca started tugging on it eagerly, her lips immediately turning into a smile behind it. "Let's get you all comfy", Y/N said before picking up Rebecca along with the diaper bag and walking them both towards the room.
Y/N changed Rebecca into a nappy and a comfortable footed onesie before walking them back into the living room to place Rebbie under her play gym. The wild life themed plushies hanging from the play gym immediately caught the baby's eyes. She sloppily started reaching for them, making them dangle back and forth.
"Is that fun, my baby? You love the flying amphibians, don't you?", Y/N cooed at her baby while she giggled animatedly due to the moving toys over her. Each one had either rattles or mirrors attached to them, so Rebbie always had the upmost fun during playtime. "Which one is your favorite?"
"Fweddie!", Rebbie answered happily while pointing at the hanging frog.
"Oh, you like the one that looks like Freddy, huh? You're so smart, and cute", Y/N cooed once more at her adorable little baby as she continued to play with the stuffed animal that looked exactly like her comfort plush, Freddie the Frog.
