TW: isolation, the others are kind of shitty in this one

Thank you all for the 30k reads, and the votes and comments!

The members are having a movie night. Chan can hear their laughter and chatter from his room, and could swear that they are doing it specifically to torment him.

He knows that  that's not it, that he needs to stop being so sensitive. But when he is running on six hours of sleep for the past three days, it is hard to regulate his emotions, to keep them in check.

Either way, he knows the others can't help be excited- after all, three days off after their hellish schedules is certainly reason to celebrate. If only he could. Don't get him wrong, Chan is so thankful and happy that  he got the the opportunity to collaborate with TWICE, but this damn song won't write itself.

But still, they could've chosen any of the other dorms to gather in, instead of his shared one with Jeongin.

It feels like a pointed jab in his direction, if he is being honest.

His schedule is draining for everyone, especially Minho and Changbin, who have to play the role of the leader when he is called away to the company. Which has been more often than not lately.

Still, it isn't as though he can control what management wants their group to get accomplished.

It would be easier if Jisung and Changbin actually sent him the tracks they are working on.

Chan is still waiting on a sample from Jisung, one that was due two days ago. Their producer gave him an extension, but it is almost up.

He will need to ask the rapper for it again.

The thought worries him for some reason, planting seeds of doubt in his mind.

It's not as though Jisung didn't send him the tracks on purpose... right?

Chan knows Jisung would never do anything like that.

He is just being over dramatic and too sensitive, per usual.

He is being himself again, something that he hates.

The others must hate it too, he is sure. That must be why they are pulling away, why they don't want to be with him ever.

It would explain things, at least in his mind.

Sighing, he closes his laptop.

He should at least try to be there with the others, even if they would probably rather he not be there at all.

His steps are slow as he makes his way down the hallway, dread pooling in his stomach.

As he enters the living room, Jeongin spares him a dismissive glance.

"Oh hyung, you're here. We thought you were at the studio."

Chan forces a tight smile.
