have you ever lied down and wanted
some heaviness on top of you?
the most common form of this is love:
wanting the heaviness of another person.
but there are other uncommon forms too
like wanting an aquarium, or the titanic,
or even the whole world on top of you
such that you remain nothing more
than a layer of crush.
i'm feeling this feeling tonight
but as soon as i put into words
i begin to float
with the unbearable lightness of desire
under me like a hot-air balloon on fire.
