when i get sick
i scold everyone
everyone tolerates
my scolding happily
as soon as i tell them
they all leave all their work
then when i get tired and sleep
and then after sleeping i wake up
i feel that in this world
the thought of becoming an emperor
must've first come to a sick man.

बादशाह
मैं जब बीमार पडता हूँ
सबको बहुत डाँटता हूँ
हर कोई मेरी डाँट
ख़ुशी ख़ुशी सह लेता है
मेरे कहते ही हर कोई
सब काम छोड देता है
फिर थककर जब सो जाता हूँ
और सोकर जब उठ जाता हूँ
तब लगता है इस दुनिया में
बादशाह बनने का विचार सबसे पहले
किसी बीमार आदमी को आया होगा।
