Reunion Sparks

The evening sunlight poured through the large windows of the Norris home, casting a warm glow over the modern furnishings. Lando had just returned from a long day of meetings and rechecks with his McLaren team. The minute he stepped through the door, his exhaustion seemed to melt away at the sight of Lily, who was sitting on the couch, wearing one of his oversized hoodies and scrolling through her phone while Daniel, their baby boy, napped in a bassinet nearby.

"Hey," Lily greeted him with a smile, looking up as he closed the door behind him.

Lando dropped his keys on the counter and walked over to her. Without a word, he bent down, cupped her face in his hands, and pressed a lingering kiss on her lips. "Missed you," he murmured against her mouth.

Lily chuckled softly, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You've been gone for all of six hours, Lando."

"Doesn't matter," he replied, his voice lower, a teasing grin tugging at his lips. "Six hours too long."

She rolled her eyes but couldn't help laughing as he leaned down to kiss her again. This time, it wasn't brief. His lips moved with a purpose, slow and deliberate, making her heart race as she tightened her hold on him. When they finally broke apart, Lily was breathless.

"Someone's in a mood," she teased, her voice light.

"You have no idea," Lando said, his tone playful yet laced with sincerity. He gently pulled her to her feet, his hands never leaving her waist. "I've been thinking about this all day."

"Have you now?" Lily smirked, arching an eyebrow as she let him guide her toward the stairs.

"Yep," Lando grinned, leaning in to whisper in her ear. "And now that I'm home, I don't plan on wasting a second."

Lily's laughter filled the air as they reached the bedroom. "You're impossible," she said, shaking her head.

"And you love it," Lando shot back, pulling her closer.
