Dear Readers,
Thank you for the feedback.
To receive the next update, tomorrow same time, the feedback has to come in by 2 AM. I need time to rework on the draft. Genuine feedback is appreciated. Please note the work will have a lot of spelling errors and name mismatches. Highlighting them is not a part of feedback that I am looking for. The book will go though a professional editor who will take care of all the errors. what I am looking for is your take on the plot, nothing else. Just tell me what you think about characters or situations. That helps me to redesign the story better.
Love
Swati Sandeep.
The hawan ceremony unfolded in the mansion, with the sacred fire burning brightly in the havan kund, sending up fragrant smoke as the pandit's chanted Vedic mantras in unison. The serene atmosphere, filled with the pious recitations and the collective spiritual energy, created a profound sense of peace and tranquility. Ash joined her hands in prayer, wishing for her siblings to have a long and prosperous life. Behind all those prayers was her desire to have her Bhaiya back. She could not thank the almighty enough for his kindness. He had given her something that she had never asked for. She promised to wait as long as it took her.
As the prayers came to a close the main pandit rose to his feet. It was time to take his leave. Ash got up to take his blessing. The pandit handed her the blessed threads that he had purified during the puja. "Bhagwan apke Bhaiyo ke zindigi khushyo se bhar dey. Deerghayu ho. (May your brothers have a long and prosperous life. God bless them.)"
Ash thanked him with her whole heart. The blessing meant a lot to her. With two of her brothers serving in forces and Abhi as Lucifer's target, she needed all the blessings she could. Karan walked the pandits to the door, as Aakanksha gently led Ash to the couch. It was time. Karan did not wish to prolong it any longer. Maan was waiting for an hour. The brother and sister need not suffer any longer.
"I am alright, Bhabhi." Ash protested as Aaksnksha helped her sit down. The hour-long hawan had taxed her energy, but she was fine. Aakanksha offered her a glass of water but Ash refused. "Pehle Rakhi. (Let me finish the ceremony first.) I can wait for a few more hours. Where is Bhaiyu?" She looked around hoping to find her brothers, but she could not find anyone. She never insisted on her brothers joining her for the hawan, but they were always there. It was the first time that none of them were present.
