the next day, wooyoung and san started their morning with cuddles and a light breakfast. san had been texting seonghwa to find out when the boy would be able to go back, but they still had a couple of hours or so before the apartment would be ready, so they decided on binging a new drama.
they had gotten through a couple of episodes when the apartment door opened, jongho and yeosang walking in. wooyoung quickly jumped up and ran to give yeosang a hug, the older of the two laughing softly.
"hi youngie~"
"sangie..." wooyoung mumbled in a wobbly voice, holding onto the boy tightly as he struggled to keep his tears at bay.
"oh, my youngie... i'm okay..." yeosang cooed, rubbing the boy's back. "remember how i told you last night they just wanted to keep me there as an extra precaution?"
wooyoung just barely nodded, using one of his grounding methods from therapy to calm down as he listened to yeosang speak.
"everything's all good. they didn't see any abnormalities and told me i just have a minor concussion... they were just worried that maybe i had a more severe concussion since i was out cold for a bit."
"so you're o-okay?"
"yes, baby... i'm okay. i just have to take it easy for a few days to make sure this concussion heals."
"so lots of cuddle time?"
yeosang giggled at this, nodding.
"lots of cuddle time, youngie... and you'll be able to tell me all about namhae. but for now, jjong and i are going to go nap and then he's taking me out for lunch. we've been up for a while now," yeosang laughed. "hwa hyung told me the apartment is almost clean though, so you'll be able to head back there and hopefully spend some time with him and joongie hyung before i'm back."
"i'd like that..."
"just a little longer and you'll be able to, youngie. you'll be okay if i go nap now, yeah?"
wooyoung nodded quickly, starting to let go of the boy.
"go rest, sangie... i'll see you at home tonight?"
"absolutely... i love you, youngie~"
"love you toooo~"
yeosang pulled jongho with him to head to the boy's bedroom, leaving san and wooyoung alone again. almost as soon as he sat down, wooyoung's phone buzzed and a message from seonghwa popped up.

hi baby <3 i hope you
got some rest last night!!
the apartment is all cleaned
up & ready for when you
come home now :)
joongie will be here for the
next couple of hours if you
want to see him!! he has to
head to the studio later though
don't feel pressured to come
right away either if you don't
want to or aren't ready <3
i just wanted to let you know
so that you don't feel like you
can't be at home or anything

it's closer than his place so i've

instead of trying to pull all
nighters or sleep on the couch
