Rachael Hall received a call from Lisa Moore just as she had signed a new contract.

Having started her career as a dancer, Rachael Hall knew that she needed to branch out if she wanted to climb higher. A recent opportunity had come her way: a significant IP novel adaptation where the female lead was a dancer—perfectly aligned with her background. The production team also had its eyes on Adrian Blake's powerful connections, and after some maneuvering by her agent, she landed the role.

At the celebratory dinner, the producer brought up Adrian Blake multiple times, but Rachael Hall skillfully avoided giving direct answers. She couldn't make any concrete claims, but she had already tasted the benefits of being associated with Adrian Blake's name, and she wasn't about to let go of that advantage.

After greeting a few key people, she stepped out of the private dining room to take the call, leaning against the wall. "What's wrong?"

On the other end, Lisa Moore's panicked voice came through. "Rachael, you have to help me! Please!"

Rachael Hall frowned slightly. "What happened? Speak clearly."

Lisa Moore hastily explained the situation, her voice trembling on the verge of tears. "I don't know how she's connected to the Blake family, but they're pressuring us. If they don't let up, my family's business is doomed. You have to help me!"

"Are you sure it's the Blake family?" Rachael Hall asked, her tone sharp.

"My dad confirmed it. It's definitely them. I haven't done anything recently except post that thread about Sara Hart..."

Rachael Hall opened Weibo and searched for related terms, but everything had already been taken down. Not a single mention remained.

To have such thorough control over the internet, only a few families could manage that—and the Blake family was among them.

Who exactly was Sara Hart?

"What exactly did you post? Was any of it true?"

Lisa Moore stammered, "I just saw her getting out of different luxury cars a few times..."

"You mean to tell me the whole thing was fabricated?" Rachael Hall's voice rose in disbelief.

When she first saw the rumors online, a small part of her had been pleased. If Sara Hart were truly involved in something unsavory, there would be no chance of her being close to Adrian Blake. But to find out it was all lies?

Lisa Moore quickly added, "But I really did see her buy birth control pills! That part is true! The surveillance footage isn't fake!"

Rachael Hall's furrowed brows relaxed slightly. "Birth control pills..."

At least that meant Sara Hart had been intimate with someone.

But why was Adrian Blake still standing by her?

Lisa Moore's sobs grew louder. "My dad's given me an ultimatum—if I can't make the Blake family relent, he will disown me. You have to help me!"

Annoyed, Rachael Hall pressed her temple. "What do you expect me to do? Why did you even target her in the first place?"

"I just... I can't stand her!" Lisa Moore admitted, her voice cracking. "Even back in high school, it was the same. Why does she get to have such a good life? I can't swallow it!"

"And you thought this would help?" Rachael Hall sighed. "You said you and Adrian Blake were close. Could you ask him to let this go?"

Rachael Hall hesitated for a moment. "I can ask, but I can't promise anything."
