Adrian Blake and Eric Thorne headed off to the tea lounge to catch up with a few friends, while Xenia Graves took Sara on a tour around the Blake family estate.

"I have to say, I never thought I'd see this side of Adrian," Xenia Graves remarked with a smirk. "He was always the cold, indifferent type."

Curiosity sparked, Sara Hart couldn't help but ask, "What was he like before?"

Xenia Graves narrowed her fox-like eyes, seemingly lost in thought. "Hmm, it's hard to describe. When we were kids, he never played with us. He was always mature beyond his years, carrying this solemn, brooding air about him. Honestly, he seemed... lifeless. Nothing like he is now. Now, there's vibrancy, emotion — he's human."

Sara's heart tightened at the thought of Adrian's lonely childhood.

Xenia Graves patted her shoulder. "Whatever you're doing, keep it up. He's better now — even if he's a bit clingy. At least he's showing some life."

Sara nodded, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "Mm."

Just then, a child's excited voice called out, "Sara!"

Sara turned to see Jimmy Blake running toward her with his little legs, a housemaid trailing behind him.

Sara squatted down just in time to catch the boy as he threw himself into her arms. The sudden impact made her stumble, and she almost lost her balance if not for Xenia Graves steadying her.

Xenia Graves pinched Jimmy's chubby cheeks teasingly. "Look at you, little dumpling! You've gained weight again. Your sister can barely hold you."

Jimmy ignored her comment, tilting his head innocently. "Sara, what are you doing here? Where's that brother?"

Xenia raised a brow, intrigued. "Which brother?"

"The one who came with you last time!" Jimmy explained, his big round eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Oh, that brother?" Xenia Graves drawled lazily, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. "He ran off."

"Liar!" Jimmy pouted. "I saw him! He came in with Uncle Kyle."

After giving Xenia Graves a triumphant look, Jimmy turned back to Sara. "Sara, you're here too! Where's Big Brother?"

The boy's hopeful eyes made Sara's heartache. Despite everything, Jimmy Blake still adored his older brother.

Sara knelt down to meet his gaze. "Does your mom know you ran out to find us?"

Jimmy's lips pressed into a pout, refusing to answer.

Sara sighed knowingly. "I thought so." She glanced at the housemaid. "Where's Mrs. Blake?"

"She's entertaining guests."

Sara gently took Jimmy's hand, his tiny fingers warm and soft in hers. "You'll see your brother soon. For now, let's go see Grandma, alright?"

Jimmy nodded eagerly.

"I'll take him back," Sara said to Xenia. "You don't have to come—"

"I'll tag along," Xenia interjected, folding her arms. "Those gossiping socialites inside will chew you alive if you go in there alone."

Sara chuckled. "Thanks, Xenia."

As soon as Sara stepped inside, the room full of socialites and wealthy matrons fell silent. All eyes turned toward her.

Adrian's grandmother, the Old Madam, immediately lit up with a smile. "Ah, Sara, you're here! Come, come."

Mrs. Blake — Karen Carter — froze for a moment when she saw Sara, her smile faltering before she quickly recovered. "Oh, Sara, how nice of you to come. Jimmy, don't bother your sister too much."
