In the bustling mall, Ella Duvall and Sara Hart strolled hand in hand, casually browsing the shops.

"Sara, did you see the weather forecast? It's going to snow in a few days!" Ella exclaimed.

"Snow so early?" Sara murmured, a bit dazed. Snow always signaled the year's end, and she realized it had already been half a year since she and Adrian had gotten married.

She suddenly remembered a saying she had once come across: Confess to the person you like on the first snowfall.

Adrian was returning tomorrow. She thought about spending the first snowfall with him.

"Ella," she said, her eyes lighting up, "will you help me pick out a gift?"

"Of course!" Ella agreed without hesitation.

The two wandered through the mall. Sara gravitated toward men's clothing and accessories stores, prompting Ella to smirk knowingly. "It's for Adrian, isn't it?"

Sara nodded softly, a slight blush on her cheeks.

As they passed a display, a scarf caught Sara's eye—a classic Burberry cashmere scarf in a muted black check pattern. It was understated, elegant, and warm—perfect for him.

She smiled as she made the purchase.

Adrian Blake returned earlier than Sara had expected.

In the afternoon, she received his call, saying he would pick her up in the evening.

Sara finished her experiment early and packed up her things, anticipation bubbling inside her. Though they had only been apart for a few days, it felt like ages.

When a black Bentley pulled up outside, she immediately recognized it as Charlie Scott's car.

Charlie Scott opened the door for her, and Sara climbed into the backseat, where Adrian reclined with his eyes closed.

Hearing the movement, Adrian opened his eyes.

Sara sat down beside him, her voice gentle. "Are you tired?"

"A little," Adrian admitted, his tone carrying a trace of fatigue.

He had returned to deal with the disrupted schedules in M Country and had been in back-to-back meetings since arriving home.

Sara's heart ached at his weariness. "Why don't you rest? I'll wake you when we get home."

Up front, Charlie Scott glanced at them in the rearview mirror. His boss had someone to care for him, while he had been running on fumes for days. Suppressing a sigh, he started the car and headed toward the estate.

Adrian didn't close his eyes again. Instead, he turned to Sara. "Are you doing okay?"

Knowing he was referring to the recent online drama, Sara gave a small smile. "It's over now. I'm fine."

Wrapped in a pale blue coat and an ivory scarf, she looked soft and delicate. Her smile, with her brows slightly curved, was enough to brighten even the gloomiest mood.

Adrian nodded faintly.

By the time they arrived home, the winter evening had already darkened the sky.

As Charlie Scott parked the car in front of the villa, Adrian glanced at him and said, "You've worked hard these past few days. Take the weekend off."

Charlie Scott's face lit up, realizing he had just been granted a rare weekend without work. "Thank you, Mr. Blake! Wishing you and Mrs. Blake a wonderful weekend!"

Hearing the title "Mrs. Blake," Sara felt her face heat up, while Adrian remained composed.

Inside the villa, Aunt Wang greeted them cheerfully. "Young Master, Young Madam, you're back! Dinner's almost ready—just waiting on the soup!"

"Thank you," Sara responded with a smile.

Dinner was just the two of them, a scene that had become familiar and comforting.

In Adrian's absence, Sara had been eating at the school cafeteria and sleeping in her small apartment. Now, back in the warmth of their shared home, everything felt right again.

After dinner, Aunt Wang cleaned up and left. Sara glanced out the window, noting the absence of snow. But she still had a gift to give.

She turned to retrieve it when Adrian called out to her, "Sara."

He held a navy blue gift box in his hand, tied with a sleek silver ribbon. The gold lettering on the box indicated a luxury brand from abroad.

"For me?" she asked, surprised.

"Open it," he replied.

Inside was a delicate pearl bracelet. Soft pink pearls accented with a single blooming rose charm shimmered under the light, exuding elegance and playfulness.

When Adrian had seen it, he had immediately thought of Sara tending to the roses in their garden—a vision of quiet beauty.

"It's beautiful," Sara murmured, her eyes sparkling with delight. "Thank you!"

Adrian took the bracelet from the box. "Try it on."

"Okay."

She extended her wrist, slender and fair, as Adrian fastened the bracelet around it. The pearls complemented her skin perfectly, adding a touch of grace.

Sara admired it for a moment before looking up at him. "I have something for you, too!"

She hurried to retrieve the bag and handed it to him.

Adrian raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

"Just... something small. It's getting colder, and I thought it might be useful."

Adrian opened the bag to find the Burberry scarf. "A scarf?"

"Mm-hmm," Sara nodded, her voice tentative. "If you're not used to wearing one, you can just keep it..."

But Adrian's lips curved into a soft smile. "I like it."

Sara's face lit up. "Really? That's great."

She didn't need the snow to make her confession tonight. His smile was enough.
