The invitation was clearly directed at Adrian Blake, and whatever interest Lucas Graves had in the situation immediately faded. He shot Adrian Blake a meaningful look, curious about how he'd handle this.

"Sorry, I've been very busy lately, so I probably won't have time," Adrian Blake responded flatly.

A flicker of disappointment flashed in Rachael Hall's eyes, but she maintained her poised smile. "If you truly can't make it, that's alright. It's just that I've just returned to the country, and I wanted to invite some friends. I don't have many close friends here yet..."

Adrian Blake pursed his lips, then reached out and took the tickets. "I can't promise I'll be there."

Seeing him accept the tickets, Rachael Hall concealed her excitement and added, "If you can't attend, feel free to give the tickets to a friend."

Her gaze then shifted to Sara Hart, eyes flashing with curiosity. "And who might this be...?"

Before she could finish her question, a voice called out from behind, interrupting her.

"Sara!"

It was Ella Duvall's voice. The performances in the auditorium were nearly over, and Sara Hart had promised to meet her ten minutes ago. After waiting twenty minutes with no sign of her and getting no replies to her messages, Ella Duvall had come out to look for her.

Seeing the group of people standing together, Ella Duvall straightened her posture, walking over to Sara Hart's side with a friendly smile aimed at Adrian Blake. "Oh, Mr. Blake is here too."

Rachael Hall's gaze immediately shifted to Ella Duvall, and she became subtly more guarded. Ella Duvall was the kind of striking beauty that instantly captured attention, the type of woman men couldn't look away from. Her presence always drew every gaze in the room.

Even Lucas Graves's eyes flickered with admiration - natural beauties like this were a rare find.

Adrian Blake, on the other hand, vaguely remembered that Ella Duvall was Sara Hart's friend.

"Hello," Adrian Blake greeted with a slight nod.

"Sara, is this your friend?" Lucas Graves asked, his long, almond-shaped eyes curving with a playful smile.

"Yes, this is my friend, Ella Duvall," Sara Hart introduced her.

Ella Duvall turned to Lucas Graves, nodding politely, "Nice to meet you."

The atmosphere felt a bit awkward.

"We'll be going now," Sara Hart said quickly, intending to pull Ella away.

But Ella Duvall didn't budge. Instead, she tightened her grip on Sara's hand and, with a bright smile, asked, "Sara and I were planning to walk around campus. Would you all like to join us?"

Sara Hart looked at Ella Duvall, puzzled.

Ella Duvall patted her hand gently, signaling her to trust her instincts.

Lucas Graves, more than willing, jumped at the offer, "Sure, I've got time, and so does Adrian, right?" He nudged Adrian Blake's sleeve for confirmation.

Adrian Blake shot him a cold glance but didn't refuse.

And so, the five of them began wandering around the campus together.

Ella Duvall looped her arm through Sara's, while Lucas Graves walked beside them, chatting with Ella. Adrian Blake remained beside Lucas, with Rachael trailing slightly behind, reluctant to miss out on the chance to stay close to Adrian.
