The moment Adrian finished speaking, Sara gave him a look of disapproval.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"Why did you say that?"

"Is there a problem?"

Sara shifted uncomfortably. "You told them not to come in, but they're just doing their jobs. It makes it sound like we're doing something... inappropriate."

It was too easy for people to get the wrong idea.

Adrian chuckled. "Madam, no one will think that."

They would, however, gossip.

YD Technology's employees were quite different from those at Blake Corporation.

Most of the core team had been with the company since its early days, building it up alongside Adrian. There was camaraderie between them. The rest of the staff were recruited from top universities, all young, talented, and full of energy.

Unlike Blake Corporation's rigid corporate culture, these employees were much more relaxed. Sure, they respected Adrian, but they weren't afraid to be curious.

And right now, their curiosity was off the charts.

After all, their ever-serious, business-focused boss had publicly admitted to being married. Even better—his wife was here, in the building.

They had to see for themselves.

Adrian was fully aware of this.

Earlier, when Sara had texted him saying she was bringing him dinner, he had been in a meeting.

Originally, the meeting was supposed to last another hour, but Adrian suddenly announced, "Let's take a break. Everyone go eat."

His employees blinked in confusion.

"What about—"

Adrian cut them off, "My wife is bringing me dinner. You all go eat, too."

The room fell silent.

And then, chaos.

The entire office buzzed with excitement. News spread like wildfire.

By the time Sara entered the company lobby, the internal group chat was already in full swing with real-time updates.

YD Technology Company Chat:

Front Desk Guardian: OMG OMG OMG, President Blake's wife just walked in!
Coffee Addict: She's so pretty! And her skin? Flawless!
Secret Admirer #34: She looks so soft and gentle. I thought Adrian would go for an elegant ice queen, but she's a sweetheart!
IT Gremlin: Is she a celebrity? She has that classic beauty.
Jealous Intern: Can someone snap a pic? I'll buy them lunch for a week!

Adrian, glancing at his phone, realized just how curious his employees were.

With an amused expression, he picked up his desk phone.

"Charlie, come in."

Charlie Scott stepped inside, already bracing himself. Had the team's gossip gotten too out of hand? Was he about to be sent on an emergency damage control mission?

"Does the company have a group chat?" Adrian asked.

Charlie Scott hesitated. "Uh... yes?"

"Add me."

Charlie Scott's eyes widened in horror. "You... You want to join the group chat?"

"Yes. Is there a problem?"

Charlie Scott broke out in a cold sweat.

That chat was... not professional.

It was where employees gossiped, joked, and vented. It was not meant for upper management, especially not for the CEO.

But what could he do?

He sent Adrian the invite.

A second later—

"Adrian Blake has joined the group."

The chat was still buzzing, no one had noticed yet.

Overconfident Newbie: LOL, someone made an account using Adrian's name! Bold move.
Chatty Cathy: Hah, nice try. We're not falling for that.
Daredevil: If you're really Adrian, send me $50.

Adrian casually sent an emoji to the chat.

A moment later—chaos.

Everyone stared at their screens in shock.

Wait...

Someone this generous...

No way...

Realization struck.

It really was Adrian.

The chat went silent.

Then—

"Oh, we're so screwed."
